1600w RMS baby...

2 JL 15w6s with 1000watts rms will be louder than one 10" 1600watts RMS

Volume displacment of a RE XXX is about 56 inches cubed and for the 2 JL 15's is about 170 inches cubed. So just from that the JL will be 9 dbs louder. Now given the 1600 watts vs 1000 watts, THe JL still will be 7.5dbs louder and If the JL's are sealed and the RE is ported then the JL will still will be 4 DB louder.

Now all these # are estimates. It all depends on the box and tuning.

yea but they easily take 500watts RMS each still. Still 2 15w6 will still be louder.

If u think you are gonna quake with the one 10" you will be upset. If u got the room go with the single xxx 15" I am pretty sure that will put a smile on your face.

Right now my 12w7 is louder than my friends re SX 15" his is ported on 900 watts rms to.

who the hell actualy listens to their subs in their car at 1000w. The 10 is going to sound much tigher than duel 15's but I agree with dnd2984 that the 15's will stop a single 10 interms of maximum volume, not to mention they will hit lower than a single 10.
