the only thing i would be cautious of is the impedance load on the jl amp. i know that its listed minimum is 1.5 ohms. depending on what voice coils u have, dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm, nd how u arrange them will affect the stability of the jl 1000/1. Never having actually set up one, i am not sure if this particular amp is 1 ohm stable.
In addition, it's always a good idea to match the rms power rating of your sub to the rms power output from your amp. the L7's has a rating of 1000watts rms, and if u put 2 of these to the jl 1000/1, each sub will only see 500 watts. just from personal experience, especially with kickers, you r better off overpowering than underpower. while 500 watt to the 15" L7 is underpwoering to the point of danger, it's getting close.
If i were u; meaning had the money, settled on a 15" L7, and wanted to use the jl 1000/1; i would just use only a single L7. the rms power ratings match up perfectly. 2 would seriously be over kill. if u r interested in competition level and wanted the shear volume, spl's, then get a bigger amp or 2 of the jl 1000/1, one for each L7.

i am not sure if "add another 1000/1" is a question or an answer, but hopefully it is an answer. 2 - 1000/1 and 2 - L7 is going to be way overkill on anything you would need for a balanced sound system strictly for self listening pleasure, but it is going to make one hell of a bad a$$ bass thumping machine. good luck and please feel free to keep me updated on how things are going. I would really like to know what you think about the 1000/1. I am thinkin about gettin a jl 500/1 and your opinion may help me decide.
just dont forget to make all other concersiderations when using that much power for a stereo (proper fusing, grounding, capacitors, etc).

I ran one 15 L7 off a fosgate bd1000a1 and it sounded awesome. Just make yourself a 6.0 cubic foot box and port it correctly and you will have enough bass that is able to hit low notes like a champ. Two is overkill and not neccessary, plus you build a 6.0 cubic foot box, you won't have room for two.
