12w3v2 off 500/1
I just got the jl 500/1 that I've been dying for for a while, how long do you think my 12w3 will last until I need to get a w6? Will it blow even with the gain all the way down?

you should be fine. I had one 12w3v2 ported on the 500/1 for about 2 month and no problem.

Well one person here, i think her name was stphy32, burned a voice coil on her W3v2 when powered by the 500/1

guess ill just keep those gains down and see how it does

i've had a 500/1 running a 10W3V2 for 4 years (loudly!!). no problems.
