I've decided to go back to the stock radio from my double din. I also have components installed too.

When changing out the DD to the stock radio, I ran into some problems. First, I could not get any power to the stock radio at all. Checked the radio accessory fuse and it was blown. Changed it out and it blew again after turning on for a couple seconds. This happened 2-3 times.

I threw in a 30 amp fuse, as opposed to 20 amp, and got power to stay on. But this caused some smoke to appear in the right rear of the car, where the factory amp is. I cut everything off, put the 20 amp fuse back in, and no more smoke but with power to the radio.

This is when I ran into my second problem. I could not get any audio to my components. When I connected the DD back in, everything worked fine. I have everything torn apart right now trying to figure out a solution to make my stock radio work.

Could anyone tell me what is going on? I am stumped. Thanks in advance.
