02 TL component speaker overhaul questions
I'm going to be replacing the deck and components in the tl and have them powered by an aftermarket 4 channel amp. This is my plan and need to know if the stock Bose system will get in the way.
I will not be using the factory sub.
See if his makes seance.
Deck with harness to harness on vehicle. Only connecting power, ground, and remote. Leaving the rest of the wires free.
Run 9 wire from amp, and connect to speaker channels from harness connecting to the factory harness. So I could just plug and play speakers at each location. Ex: door panels, rear panels....etc
If by doing this can I just unplug the factory amp letting me use the current wiring within the car like how a normal setup would be?

Bose amp won't get in the way. You'll have to run the wires from your 4 channel to behind the head unit to the appropriate speakers. Had a similar setup on my old TL

yup running wires through the door sucks lol. You don't have to disconnect the bose amp, but its not going to do you any good sitting in there
