If I was your age and didn't have a reason not to be one (religion, marriage beliefs, etc.), then go for it.
Dangers include:
-STD's - Be careful
-Cost - Although its your friends, these people can be sneaky
-Regret - if you have a problem saying 10 years from now that this is how you lost your virginity, then maybe you dont want to do it.

Getting laid isn't that hard, you just have to put yourself out there. Assuming you aren't painfully ugly and are capable of communicating in the English language(which you are and you are more then capable of creating interesting dialogue) you shouldn't have to resort to this. Go out and talk to girls, its the only way to get good at it, practice - be yourself and be confident. Your going to regret this choice down the road, it seems you put sex on a pedestal and end up putting pressure on yourself.
