Didn't read the thread, but 7.62 is the common round chambered in AK variant rifles and is very powerful. You don't want to get shot period, but if you have to get shot by an AK....you don't want it to be an AK74 chambered in 5.45. That is one mean fucking round.

Yes it is.. I trusted my AK-74 over all my other toys. For one thing, it tumbles like crazy resulting in one NASTY headache. But you knew that already

OK I am not sure what show I was watching but this thread really reminded me of a 24 like show, or it was 24 when a middle eastern guy was being watched by the government driving around in a stolen car. When the local police were about to tell him to get out of the car they were told not too and to let him go because they were following him. He noticed this and committed suicide because they should have arrested him.
Now I have no idea if something like that would happen in real life but if there was an investigation being held on these men maybe it could.
I watch too much tv.

It just don't make sence, how can a cop give you a AK-47 out all the guns you get with 2 clips and you don't have a gun licence and know nothing about them.
And the other side of it, what if the AK47 you have now was used in a shooting 1-2days before and you get caught with it.. What you going to say the cop gave it to you

I watch too much tv. It was on 24 last year. Don't remember exactly, but I think Jack Bauer held up a gas station to maintain his cover while following this guy. Then he made the police let him go, all so he could lead them back to the dude who played The Mummy, who was running the show. All of which is about as believable as this story unless we see some pics.
