Thanks, i do need something to do. daytime tv sucks, and i really cant sit for long periods of time either, so a lot of a-cl time is not an option. I wanna whack it, but i cant, hurts to much. That sucks.

Yea, that looks pretty bad.
It’s gonna be hard to tell what happened because of the fire damage unless the part that caused the problem didn’t burn up.
Somebody call CSI

holy crap i just got my dsl hooked up and i clicked on new posts and there is katana's bike on fire. i don't remember what i picked as far as betting goes but that's scary and i just completely lost any wish of ever owning a motorcycle. i'm glad you're okay dude. i think i'm just gonna put my money towards something more responsible like....racing school.

Damn bro, Glad you are alive.
I had a GS500(Suzuki) back in '00, down in Orlando.
Did almost 100MPH on I-4 going to Daytona beach, one time.
Trust me. I'm humbled by your experience.

Somebody up there still likes you..that's some crazy shit. At first, when I read the first post, I thought it was some joke story trying to fuck with everybody who was tellin you off about the whole irresponsible motorcycle riding threads a while back. But damn, glad to hear that you're alright. I'm not quite gettin why half of this thread was gay.

I'm know I'm late to the thread but I'm glad to hear you're mostly ok.
BTW: Why do people always say you were really lucky when shit like this happens? Having a bike catch fire on you at 100 mph seems pretty friggin unlucky to me.

Surviving a spill at 40 mph while wearing a helmet seems to be a likely event.
Having your bike blow up in flames at a time when you can't get away from it quickly seems incredibly unlucky to me.
