Cops have a way to tell if your drivers license has been used to cut up lines of coke?

do you have any good cop related jokes?
here's two i've heard related to the lapd and the rodney king incident (not intended to offend):
the infamous rodney king beating video = new lapd baton training video
did you hear about the new lapd edition of playing cards? it has 52 clubs and a spade

anyway - doesn't laser have to hit a vertical surface to get a reading? i got a speeding ticket and the cop said he hit my front plate. when i brought up to him, and in court, that i had no front plate to hit, he just said "well i hit you."
to this day, i swear that he nailed the truck that was passing me. big green pickup (local) in a small town in MD. and me in my shiny CLS (on the way to a funeral no less)

What does cocaine taste like? I see cops on tv tasting it and always thought it taste like baking soda...just because it looks like it.
Do cops have clicks? Like is there the nice cops and the renegade cops and the hard headed cops and the blah blah blah...?
How realistic did you find the movie Crash?

I actually know the answer to this...
It doesn't really taste like anything (kinda bitter?)... but you can tell it's coke because it instantly numbs your tongue; think novacaine.

a serious question.
I know the tint laws in cali say that we cant have the fronts tinted AT ALL
how often do you pull over someone just because you see that the fronts are tinted? is that even enough of a reason to do so? Also can you really tell the diff if a window is tinted or not? some are kinda hard to tell I think.
(im trying to see if i want to get my windshiled tinted 50% or not)

I still get in my TL and speed around, and at the meet i was going as fast as everyone else... I've let a lot of people go who deserved to be arrested, but I knew just my contact had made a difference...
Maybe it's just because I work for a busy agency, i don't have time to sit around in speed traps or hide on offramps to get freeway speeders... i get my fill of work busting crackheads, rapists, wife beaters, and other shit... who cares about some idiot kid with a muffler and lowering springs, especially when my own personal car has an idiot muffler and lowering springs
we're all idiots

there was a movie where they invited recruits to taste cocaine, then told them it was ground up birdshit or something like that... supposedly there was an instructor IRL who did the same, but with like baking soda or something with that nasty bitrex shit... but its sort of a legend-ish thing so
tasting it for law enforcement testing is all hollywood baby

i dont usually ticket for modified exhausts, tint, front license plate, etc... i like them and have most (no tl exhaust yet ) so its pretty weak... and when im busting dopers and domestic mike tysons i have better things to do...
i will usually ticket tint on a car when the person is a doper, a felon, or something else above regular citizen... these people are dangerous and should not be hidden by tint. i want to live and go to more meets
police cars are tinted specifically to the california legal limit, at least ours are. this is so we can compare them, on scene, to the subject vehicle. if it seems darker, we can ticket it.
it's more than enough probable cause for a pull over by itself, and it's pretty easy to tell whats illegal once you get into darker tints.

With tint laws I never understood something. Why is it legal for SUV's to have blacked out tint in the back but not cars? I would think an SUV could potentially carry more people in the back with guns pointed right at you then a car would.

besides, twistys are usually boonie roads, not like we're speeding through a playground
the "work car" i was referring to when i said i have driven along that road before was a crown victoria and i was f'in flying, sirens and all, going the opposite way for a cover call..

about 2 years now, and i am bottom rank regular officer, not a sgt or anything (yet)
