I think I am going to sell the CL and get a cheap old pathfinder to beat teh shit out of, and then maybe get a little fun car after a year or two, pending money and condition of said beaten beater.

Trying to decide if I want to stay with a stick on the pathfinder. trying to decide if my car will sell quick enough.

Its all a pain in my ass.
i saw your thread, and understand your frustration. it's the same reason i sold off my 03 CL, taking a big loss because i just couldn't bear driving it around and having it get dinged up. so, i'm stuck with my 99 beater legacy GT w/ 120K on the clock.

Say, one more question on your bike...does it take regular gas? And what happens if you put in premium?

older legacy GT wagons look like poop to me. the sedans are ok.

And there are no good cheap sporty wagons with stick thats are affordable...unless i wanted to get a saturn wagon and i just cant do that.

Id rather get an old pathfinder and be another asshole in an SUV.

87 octane works just fine for the SV. premium would be a waste of money.

it does depend on the bike. jatt's bike and mine have the exact same engine, the manual tells us to use 87. now...it won't hurt if premium is put in, but it really isn't necessary. if one was to have a good amount of performance mods, or built up their SV, then yes...definitely premium or race fuel. inline 4's, that's a different story.

Good to know, GTK...Thanks!

Well, do the Euro bikes (i.e. Bimmer and Ducatti) require premium fuel?
