i don't know about safe...all it takes is 1 driver talking on their cell phone, or doing their makeup, and your day is ruined. i consider my ride to be relatively safe...half my commute is on the carpool lane, and the other half is slow speed lane splitting.

my everday day riding is in city... i've got close to 6000miles (probably hit 6k tomorrow) and thats just in 4 months I think.

I'm sick and tired of trying to keep a nice car out here. And its even more pointless to look at something nicer and newer.

And to top it off, I can't really afford anything I want.

I think I am going to sell the CL and get a cheap old pathfinder to beat teh shit out of, and then maybe get a little fun car after a year or two, pending money and condition of said beaten beater.

Trying to decide if I want to stay with a stick on the pathfinder. trying to decide if my car will sell quick enough.
