Signature only showing on latest post
@IB Jason,
I'm not crazy and this used to be a setting you can toggle from vB options right? A few people have asked about them not seeing their signatures anymore. I recall that there used to be a "show only on latest post" option but couldn't find it anymore.
Backend change?

I noticed this recently as well. Haven't figured out the pattern, but sometimes the signature block is there and sometimes it isn't.

That may be the case but something has changed more recently and as I mentioned above the signature block showing isn't consistent.
PS - It's by no means the end of the world, but it is a change.

It's hard to furnish an example as the signature shows up seemingly at random; one moment a post will have it, come back to the thread, the post doesn't have it; come back to the thread again and the signature has returned.
Edit: looking at this new post I see my signature, for the moment.

I see my signature in post #2, but not in #4. And have have done nothing with any of my profile settings in quite some time.

So I just did the edit above and my signature block was not there - and after submitting the edit it's there

It must have gotten fixed somewhere along the line and I didn't notice it so I checked and it's working for me in other threads since I never changed my option to see signatures only once.
That's the way it's working for me in this thread also.
I only see your signature once also so don't know what you meant by after the edit it's there.

Not sure what to tell you. Now I only see it once as well. After I edited my post above(8), my signature block was there - now that I come back to this thread it's not there. I guess I would need to start taking screen shots to prove I'm not loosing my marbles. I'm not going to loose any sleep over this but something has changed is the past week or so and it appears that the view changes depending on when you look at it.

Sorry for the confusion this is causing, guys. The PM I sent to Ron was correct at the time: we needed to remove the plugin that powered the option of only seeing a signature once per thread page. In the time since, however, we decided to build that same functionality into the core forum software and that's ongoing. So as a stop gap, signatures are set to one per user per thread page as that was the norm before we killed the plugin.
