New Member: How do I add an avatar and a signature?
Well the title pretty much clarifies my situation ha, but yeah, I'm a new member and I'm not even allowed to have my inbox filled with more than 2 messages yet. Am I allowed to add an avatar and a signature yet? If so, how? Thanks !!

Welcome to the boards!
To change your avatar, simply click the 'settings' link that is in the navigation bar just below the Acurazine logo. Then you'll be taking to a page that will have a left navigation bar, in there will be a link called "Edit Avatar".
Give that a go.

I cant see your avatar. I'm still having issues. Tried on both my laptop (vista) and desktop (windows 7) internet explorer, google chrome, and various file types (gif, jpeg, bitmap) and nothing seems to work.

There is a notice that appears at the top of the page when you log in which will explain why you can't PM, post pictures, or do certain other things, and also why your post count is not going up like you think it should. It was also in your registration email. Please take the time to read it. Be sure to count your days correctly, and check the number of posts you have.
You also won't be able to add an avatar. This information was not in the notice you have been receiving, but I have added it so future notices will display the avatar information.

As a fellow newbie.. I agree.
How about making us new folks take an IQ test before approving full membership? Perhaps a short essay on why we should be allowed to join? I know that would keep me from posting nonsense just to get approved.
yes... nerves are wrecked.

Thank you. It took me a bit to navigate, but I think I have it figured out. I just have to wait. I understand why things are the way they are...I just was hoping for answers sooner than later. I've used this site as a reference as a non-user for a while...figured it was time to sign up! Thanks again for your help. Sorry so "newbie"

Try clicking on this link: https://acurazine.com/forums/profile.php?do=editavatar And simply follow the instructions on the page. However, review the information sent to you when you signed up. There is a minimum waiting period before many of these features are enabled. Unfortunately we have to do this to stop spammers and bots.
If you still have issues, please let us know.

Help me not be such a newbie!!!
I am SO bad at this! At the top of the page, I clicked on TL...then chose 3rd gen. and from the there I picked the subject (i.e. problems & fixes) then clicked new thread. I thought I was posting a question under there...but it doesn't show up. I'm seriously NOT an idiot. Seriously. I just can't seem to figure out how to get my posts to the right place...PLEASE HELP ME! Is it because I'm new so my posts won't appear for people to see? I hate to keep making mistakes & having the Admin's have to move my stuff...but I have serious questions and want to be a part of this forum. Please, seriously help me! I'm sorry for being so stupid about this. If you lead me to the instructions, I promise I'll read them!!!
