MBAM detecting and blocking malicious website

hondacar.com.ua
194.28.87.125

Doesn't happen every time, so probably related to a rotating ad....or something got injected into the web page.

Looks like Ukraine botnet?

Thanks for letting us know, nfnsquared, and apologies for our delayed response. As you suspected, this appears to be a rogue ad coming through one of our partners. Is MBAM automatically blocking the ad entirely for you, or are you able to see an ad banner when this warning goes off? If you can see the banner, can you please pass along a screenshot?

Yes, MBAM is blocking outbound transmission to that IP address. I'm running ABP so I don't see the ad, sorry.

IB has over 250 forums that they manage so it would be unfair for them to be expected to monitor all of them.

They have been doing a good job of keeping up with threads once they have been notified of a problem so I will continue monitoring and advising them when I think their help is needed.

Not a problem. We'll monitor the situation on our end and work with our ad partners to stop it from appearing.
