You'll probably whip my ass anyways. My car just sounds bad ass. Now most of my remaining mods are cosmetic, except RSB when my summer job starts.

Rob, I have no idea where we could meet up. I would say Belle Isle, but you are coming from the opposite direction.

Umm, I really don't know.

I mean, we don't really have to meet up by the border. We could just meet somewhere off of I-75 or something. What do you guys think?

Rob you just wanna meet at that Tim Horton's again? That was pretty easy, right at the tunnel. I'll be coming west on Jefferson, so I won't be able to meet you off I-75.

Sure, if you want. But I bottomed out on their driveway last time.

Where was it, first right after getting out of the tunnel??

I was wondering ... where the heck in Detroit by the tunnel is there a Tim Horton's?! Oh ... on the Windsor side ... different story. (corner of Goyeau & Park ... a right turn onto the road after Canadian Customs)

PA -- why don't you wait across the street in front of the church if you're afraid of bottoming out? Walk over and meet up with 98CLChick. Just don't stand in a no-parking zone too long ... Police Headquarters is 2 blocks away.

Yeah, we're talking about on the Windsor side. Just after you get out of the tunnels, I think it's the first right and it's on the left side.... but I'm sure there are about 10 others within a block...

I'm going the bridge way-it's so EASY to get there. I guess I'll meet y'all up there.

Do you want to meet somewhere on the way there? I do have to stop in Windsor to get my food I'm bringing.

If you're going from the Bridge, it's easier to get to Malden Park. I know for 98CLChick, crossing will be easier from the Tunnel (based upon where she lives).

There's a McDonald's just before the first intersection after clearing Canadian Customs. Parking lot is big so you guys can wait there to meet up. If you meet at the supermarket (A&P) ... that's a huge mall parking lot, so you might not find one another there. (See previous post on how to get into mall -- at least it's not a "Michigan left")

PA -- which direction are you coming from? I-75?

Yeah, I-75 most likely. It's easy to take the tunnel that way... it's right at the exit.

But it's easier to get to the park by crossing the bridge.

So I don't care either way. I'll probably decide at the last minute like as I'm pulling out of my driveway.

I don't want a hassle by customs for bringing in food-so I'll meet at Mickey D's if PA and Jen want, but I have to stop @ A & P to get my stuff.

I am driving back,..........why? Is there something going on down in Windsor?

I was maybe going to pay a short visit to a guy I know doing law school down in windsor, but I dont think it will happen. I will be BBQing it up/ cruise after (if we do that) and I think it makes more sense to drive back with everyone, rather than on my own.

Back to Chi-town or back to Detroit? There's a big difference.

I don't know how long I'll stay since I'll probably we wiped out from the lack of sleep over the week in Toronto and the drive home from TO. I'm not as young as I used to be ...

I'll bring a case of pop and a cooler, if thats cool. I dont think I'll be able to fit any chairs if my car tho, since my trunk will be full of sub.

edit: How about nametags? I dont really know anyone by name, so i'll bring some nametags too.

Name tags is a good idea. Hard to remember names for people you meet only at meets.

@ bringing the name tags. Your avatar makes it even better.

Please, feel free to conveniently forget the name tags. We're not retarded and we're not getting together for rehab...
