As for ice ... there's a grocery store (A&P) on the way there. It's at the first major intersection south of the bridge (well ... the one AFTER the McDonald's). It's called Tecumseh Rd W. Take a left at the light and another left ... it's in the big strip mall. If anything is forgotten, somebody can make a run over there for stuff.

CS -- are you and Jen driving together in your Audi? It would make sense to me. Hey -- the Sebring is cool, too. As for the melting chocolate ... maybe you guys can do that in your private time ... I'm sure there are others who wouldn't mind the show but let's keep this a family-oriented gathering. (ie nothing too perverted) Us Canadians aren't used to that time of fanfare ...

Plus we don't want to get kicked out by the cops (Windsor cops are notorious to being a little less than friendly to law-breakers compared to other police forces...)

I'll be stopping at the A & P on the way in. I can get whatever is needed. I'll get ice-if they have it for the coolers, and the cheese.

 

Ok, I'll definitely bring 2 coolers and some ice. And I'll shove as many chairs as I can find in the trunk of the Audi.

I will DEFINITELY be stopping at duty-free to pick up my stash of canadian kitkats and aero bars. I'll share!!

Whats the deal with the chocolate bars? Kitkat's are different in the US to what we have up here?

 

Maybe it's just me, but I think they taste different. GOOD different. And we don't have Aero bars here either.

 

Really eh,...weird. I should pick up a few cases of Aero bars from costco for you then LOL. I suppose they wouldnt be duty free though,...................

There was a chunk of tire on the 401 and try to swerve but lost control and hit a tranport truck, then bounced onto the concrete. Car was dragging with the truck and the conrete for a bit so the side is all scratched up. No damage to the transport truck though.

Any idea what is going to happen? If it's written off then I get money from the insurance right? I hope insurance doesnt spike...

If the car is totalled, then yeah, the insurance company will cut you a check for the market value of the car. It's negotiable, too. Since the accident was caused by road debris, I highly doubt they will count this against you.
