and where do you guys get off thinking that driving to Windsor is any shorter for us Toronto peeps?
if you're going to suggest meeting in the middle, then make it the middle! some place like London maybe?

That's why Windsor is a good choice. I want as many people there as possible. I know you can't cross, and Sam works everyday but Sunday. I think another meet at that park for a fall BBQ would be awesome.

Man I dont wanna go to windsor, but I will if I HAVE to. From Toronto to Waterloo is about and hour. From Waterloo to London is another hour. So that is about 2hrs. I cant remember how long it is to windsor,...its been so long since I have been there but I think thats another hour (total 3hrs or a little more). I like the London idea,....but I'll do windsor if I HAVE to. I want everyone to see my ridiculously STOCK,.......er,.......I mean modded,... TSX hahaha,...its so stock. Seriously though, I wanna see everyone elses cars.
What do you need now to cross the border anyway? Do you have to have a passport now? Mine expired,...I dont even know where my birth cirtificate is lol. I have not been to the States for a WHILE now.
Here is a map for ppl that wanna see where stuff is in Ontario.

London is midway between Windsor and Toronto. London is 180km (110 miles)from Windsor ... so add the time it takes you to cross the border and then 110 more miles. I'd guess 2.75-3.00 hours from where you're from and how bad the traffic can get on the bridge (or tunnel). I would advise taking the bridge since it's easier to get to the 401 via Huron Church Rd.
London ... it's a very straightlaced town. Even though it's a university town (and some very hot women on campus) -- it's very boring. My bro went to school there for 9 years and he couldn't wait to leave it. ndawood can tell you stories -- he was only there for 3 years! haha.
Places to meet in London ... uhhh ... you've got me. Easiest for most would be near the 401. White Oaks Mall is large and easy to find for people east and west of London (Wellington Rd -- it's an exit off the 401). We can take it from there ???
Anyone from London who can organize? I might be able to free up a Sunday ... but it better be soon 'cause December's not too far away (and I'm going to Vegas for a week... )

I actually lived there for a total of 5 years. Derrick is right, it is a VERy boring place.
the best place to meet up would be at white oaks mall. From there we could head out to springbank park or depending on the time we could go to ether port stanley or to sparta which is dragstrip 10mins out of London.

I'm in London right now. Lol, would never thought of having a meet in here. Anyways White Oak Malls is just right off the 401 ramp (Wellington Exit), so relatively easy to find. GO LONDON! GO LONDON! And yes, you should exercise a bit of caution for OPP after Waterloo stretch.

Can we start to set something up? I won't be able to make it till after Thanksgiving ( coming back from St Louis on the Sat after Thanksgiving). Does that Sunday work or would it be the week after?

White Oaks Mall is pretty easy to find for sure. I actually know where it is,....and yes London is boring from what I have heard (only been a few times) but that doesnt really matter. So does this mean we are meeting in London? Is that ok with everyone? Who wants to organize,....I dont want too cause this will be my first meet and I dont know london well. I DID do both my driving tests there though LOL.
When is thanksgiving for US,..24th right? DAY AFTER MY BDAY,.....if we have the meet then I expect presents from all of you,...haha JKS. So who wants to organize? Will the mall be busy on the sunday,...Im thinking it might be,....so where would be a good place to meet at the mall?

Happy New Years and have a safe trip Astro!
As for the meet, how many people here (from States and Toronto) feel London is ok and would make the trip?
