The trip is about 448 miles. How much gas is that at 16mpg??? About 26 gallons or so. At $3.10/gal, that's around $86.

Are there gas stations all around Crater Lake? I figure when I go WOT I get about 6 mpg so I'll need to stop alot.
Maybe you can hookup with Glenn in Portland on your way through.

6mpg at WOT!!! That's gotta hurt.

Very Nice

I wish I had access to a shop like that. Pretty cool that they have a finned diferential cover to control heat.

Works for me. We should all be in sync by the time we hit the road so we can minimize stops with:
- tanks topped off
- Fresh Starbucks in the cupholder
- Lunch? Shall we get together and have lunch before we hit the road?

I'm confirmed for the hotel...

Red: I'm meeting up with a friend for lunch around 1pm and then I'll head down to the meet from there. You're welcome to come to lunch but it sounds like you want to get an early start.

Everyone: Remember to bring walkie-talkies if you have them.

Not yet Dennis. I got all the info though and I'm learning!

Believe it or not, I have less than 500 miles on the car. Since the move, I haven't been driving as much and when we do, we use Anita's MDX. So, I couldn't do it now anyway since Matt told me you need to go past 1,000 miles at least.

So, this run to Medford and back will get the miles on and I'll have a chance to drive the car stock and see how it feels. I know the tires are going as soon as possible, all the Subie owners reffered to them as "squealing pigs", sounds just like how we described our stock CL-S tires!! The funny thingis, they don't seem too bad to me so far, but I'm sure when we hit the twisties I'll hear em !!

Cool.

It depends on how long you plan to have lunch, if it's an hour and we're on the road by 2 or 2:30, I would. It would still get us to Medford by 6-6:30.

I'll P.M. you and we can discuss.

Glad you're set, can't wait to see and HEAR that beast!!

Good reminder on the Walkies.

With the chip and u/d pipes, you'll might get close to what your Red Rider was in WHP. Isn't there also a bigger inner-cooler available too? You going to do a pre-install dyno?

Basically, it puts you in STI territory!!
