Hey 98CLChick ... you're coming from way uptown (Bloomfield Hills), right? I PM'ed Pure Adrenaline directions from I-94 to Port Huron -> Sarnia -> 402 -> 401. I think it'll be easier for you to go that way than fight Detroit traffic then go via highway 401 from Windsor. I also PM'ed him directions from the Ambassador Bridge to Toronto, too. Your choice...

I'm leaving Friday night to Toronto ... maybe you wanna link up with Pure Adrenaline to keep each other company to Woodbine Acura. Once you're on the Canadian side, it'll be a fairly smooth drive (ie 80mph+ since you're American and don't have to worry about paying speeding tickets)

OK ... you're in Grosse Pointe ... my bad. You might be better off going via Windsor then. Of course, it's all dependent on border traffic. Generally, it's easier to cross via the Bluewater Bridge than Ambassador Bridge. If you wanna take the tunnel ... you drive up Oullette Ave (takes a bend and turns into Dougall Ave) straight to the 401. Thing is about going via Windsor ... you have to be careful around Chatham (about 50 miles away) ... TONS of cops patrolling that area. You bypass Chatham going via Port Huron. Again ... your choice. I'll PM you the directions.

PS -- Love you see you there! It's been since last June at the Buffalo Wild Wings meet in Michigan. Why don't you convince darrinb to join the drive up?

Aaaaargh - I had to rent a car from Enterprise for a business trip, so I had Mrs. PistonFan drop me off while I picked up my POS Nissan Altima. Lo and behold, she decides to inadvertantly scrape the front end of my TSX against a parked rear end of a Chevy Trailblazer!!!!!!

Yep - nice juicy scratch marks on the front bumper from the trailer hitch - FUZZ!!!!!

If she had been driving her CRV - it would have been bumper to bumper - no damage, but instead I've got fresh fleshmarks on my car....

Check out Priceline - you can stay at a 4 star hotel for $60 bucks USD - not too shabby. If you can drive out on Friday, I'd recommend making a weekend of it. Toronto beats the pants off Motown - insert Captain Obvious here - if you need some guidance on places to stay, clubs, sights - I'm sure plenty of cannucks will chime in here.
