You're moving!? We gotta have a meet before you head out to Colorado.

Im up for a meet, the sooner I know the date, the better. I usually work on weekends so I need to ask the day off in advance.

It sounded like a good turnout last year at that park.

Anyone know if there's another meet set up like the one at Woodbine last year?

This is what I'm trying to do. What weekend is good for everyone? I'm getting antsy not being able to do the summer mods. Want to renew friendships. Let me know when is good. Did you like that park last year?

Dragonlord -- I'm busy up until I leave for Toronto during the 3rd week of April. Since I'm up there, I might as well meet up with the GTA peeps to check things out. I seriously doubt there will be a Woodbine meet as big as it was last year. No one is going to put in that much effort.

Maybe a small meet over at Dave & Buster's -- or maybe a drive for wings. Or maybe Salad King ... haha.

Time: TBA.

Hoping Astro has some free time by then.

Where's Dave & Busters, Steve? I've heard much about it, but I've never been. I think the closest one around here is in Novi?

The park in Windsor like last time would be sweet, too. I had a great time there.

Didn't turn out that way. There are people that would love to go to all meets in this "area", but we all can't/won't drive 4 hours, meet for 2, then drive back 4 hours. Why don't YOU come to Windsor? Lot's of people made the Woodbine meet last year from Toronto.

Not hating either. Just wondering why some people won't travel. I would, but it would have to be for a weekend. There is a thread for Windsor already.

Where is Shannonville?

PA- There is a Dave & Buster's on my side of town in Sterling Heights. Van Dyke and Hall Road ( M53 & M59).

Ah, gotcha.

One more thing... what is Dave & Buster's? Like, what kind of a place is it? I've never been. Is it like an arcade/restaurant type place?

You are correct sir. It is an arcade/restaraunt. They have a huge parking lot, and the food is supposed to be good. Sound interesting?

Cool, I'm down for a get-together. The weather seems to be getting better lately. I think it's time for a season opener meet.

Maybe we should start a new thread for a Michigan meet? Or is this going to be a Windsor meet so that more Canadian members can come? If it's going to be in Windsor, then I say we do it at the park from before.

How about set the date either a weekend before or after the Shannonville track date. April 1 or April 15.

We'll have it where most people are willing to drive to. Once we get it somewhat set up, we should PM people around area and let them know. Since only a limited number of people have replied to this thread.

If it's Woodbine, ask if Woodbine Acura would have it like last year with all the Acuras.

Check the Meets section. I started a Michigan thread about a week ago- not many responses. But Woodbine would be awesome!

PA- you want to help me set this up?

Could you contact them and see if they are receptive to that idea? And see if those weekends are good for them? Does that sound OK PA?

So what does everyone want to do? Toronto or MI?

In Toronto,
1)We could go to Sam's work, Salad King
http://www.saladking.com/index.html

2) Dave & Busters, they got games and other things to keep occupied.
http://www.daveandbusters.com/

3) Mandarin and Go-Kart in Brampton
http://www.mandarinbuffet.com/home.html
http://www.formulakartways.com/

In MI / Windsor area:

1) The park last year - Someone that went last year can set it up because I wasn't there.

DATE: April 15, 22, or 29?

Brampton is 230 miles away.

There's a go-kart place in Utica -- www.kart2kart.com -- It's a pretty sweet place.

For the time being, I would say either at Dave & Buster's or at the park in Windsor. Good thing about meeting at the park is that everybody chip in a little bit and it won't cost much money. Dave & Buster's could end up being pretty costly.

I don't know, it's up to you guys.

A BBQ at a park sounds like a good idea. Need a park where there's BBQ we can use.

It'll be a long drive for some people, regardless of where it is. Any date is fine with everyone?

I don't know who found the park and/or set it up last year, but I'm sure somebody on here knows.

Dave and Busters WILL be expensive. I have only been once, but if I remember correctly there was nothing there that I would call cheap.

What is all this about a park and a BBQ??? Sounds tasty,.....MMMM BBQ. Windsor is a long drive,.......but I will make the trip if we have a descent number of ppl for the meet.
