Any clubs in Toronto for the Acura CL?

 

CL specific, I think there is, I know there are some members on here that are also on torontoaccords.com that have occasional CL Meets from time to time.

I just got a 2003 CL and would love to see what other people have done with theirs. Do you guys want to try and arrange something?

 

I know there are a couple of Meets coming up, TPC(Toronto Prelude Club) is discussing one last Meet, probably at the Dundas/Hwy 403 spot.

Also, TAC(Toronto Accord Club) is having a HUGE End of Photoshoot on October 12, 2008.

If the CL people are interested send me a pm and I can send you the info for either Event.

Otherwise, just set something up with a date/time/place and people tend to come out!

 

I have a turkey dinner saturday....but i think that's it. I can try and make the TAC meet if that's what ppl want to do.

Where is the TAC meet on Sunday? Leslie and what?

 

It says a parking tower off leslie...I think it's in downsview park. 3-6pm on the 12th.

There is a Pre-Meet at McCowan/Hwy 7 as well as at Weston Rd/Hwy 401. There will be a map of the Pre-Meet spots as well as the photoshoot location posted today.

I'm located out in Markham (Kennedy/Hwy.7 mostly).

This past week TAC had their year-end photoshoot up near Commerce Gate (Hwy.7 & Leslie).

Where does everyone (those interested in meeting) live? Count me in as reppin from the east-side.

 

I'm in RIchmond Hill but I am happy going east or west. Hwy7 and leslie would work well for me though.

sorry im against that place, with traffic it took me like 45 min to get there from mississauga. i think Yorkdale area is a central location for everyone

I'm down for a meet - Yorkdale is a good location but parking lot is always full.

 

Yorkdale works for me but I agree the parking lot there sucks. I wonder if we would be better off at the home depot/staples parking lot on the north side of the 401.

Don't get a civic hatch. CL is so much nicer. Civic's are everywhere....their board must have like 10,000 GTA members. There's some nice 03 CL's m/t for sale in the GTA...
What changes do you have in mind? 3.5L!

 

I'm coming but I want to cruise this time, and let's eat something maaaaannnn.

How many conversations are we gonna have about XS headers, aem air intake, UR UD Pulley, 3.5 conversion with 05 RL Pistons and S2000 injectors, or Comptech Super Chargers, and how we need better motor mounts, and how we need custom cams, and the after market needs to make more stuff for us, J Block this and J Block that blah blah blah, oh yeah and navi conversions and emanage tune ups.

Listen if we are gonna talk about this stuff let's eat and do it at the same time cause standing around in the parking lot is to coooooold now to do.....

and let's cruise to the restaurant.

Sunday is good for me and I don't care if we are inside or out. Hoever, I do want to see the mods that people have made to their vehicles as I just got my CL and it has no mods.

 

Ok, so the date sounds like it's confirmed, how about putting up some details/sign-up in the OP, so people know what's up, since the 19th is just around the corner.

I would come out, but it's my b-day, and I think my fiance is planning something. I'm not really up for any celebrations, but, oh well.

 

Ya, I cant' make it this week either. My wheel bearing won't be fixed until Oct 24 and i'm using a mazda rental

i dont know how many of u guys know where Sunny Side pool is, but to the east of the pool there's a small parking lot thats free, we could meet there since the background would be the water and i doubt anyone will park there on a Sunday afternoon in the fall

 

If you can post directions to the sunny side pool that would be good! I have no idea where it is

i mean its an ok location just to meet, but theres no where to chill after, i think we should split it into 3 sections

1: Meet at a place for a photoshoot (somewhere with a cool background)
2: Cruise
3: Park and eat somewhere

 

alright this is a place i found just searching around on forums. It looks like a sick location for a photoshoot, i might drive by tomorrow and see exactly where we can drive in and stuff without doing something that might get us in trouble lol.
