Anyways, The meet is tommorow at markham park, just as the ad at the beginning of this thread says at 12:00pm. You can show up though after 12. Only some people will be punctual and be there at 12 exact. I probably wont be there at 12 exact but i know there will be othere there just waitin or what not. Anyways, i gotta wash the whip tommorow morning and i look forward to seein some new faces out there along with some previous members who were in the vid of the last one that i did. Ttyl. Peace.
Oh and if a specific spot hasnt been decided, one of you guys might want to show up early and select the meet spot and well find everyone gathering where ever in there. Its not hard to drive around in there and find where the meets at. Lata.

 

Just a reminder for those reading this thread in the morning who are in the Miami Lakes, Hialeah and Hialeah Gardens area... (and also for those who would like to meet there in other areas of miami!)

FUCKING GREAT, With my luck in planning this meet, mother nature decides that its PISS ALL OVER SOUTH FLORIDA DAY TODAY, fuckin rainding and complete BLACK ASS GREY OVERCAST BY ME, im in pembroke pines, out west near the everglades off pines blvd. Whatever, i hope this shit all passses by 12 or 1 so atleast the meet could be delayed or something that way ill be able to have the whip washed and dry some what by the time i levae my krib. im psyched that the meet is finally here, im pissed that its raining so i cant take out all my school junk from the car (how embarrasing it would be to show up full of junk). how did you plan on gettin to markham? i75 from pines? a bunch of us are meeting down by a starbucks but afterwards were planning on probably jumping on the 826 to get to i75, so if thats how you were getting there im sure we could join up on the highway. if not then eh.

on a side note, if we bring one of those hot liquid type things (where people put lotsa coffee and stuff and it has a lil spout) to starbucks, you think somehow we can get it filled with hot chocolate (even if its for a price hehe)?

Yea, i take Sheridan Street or Pines going east and hop on 75 to go north to that exit in weston, and then i take weston road north directly into the enterance. Yea we can meet up on the highway, gotta time it just right but i think i might be leaving after u guys are already commin this way. Idk well see. But its possible you could get it filled there, idk, ask them.

btw everyone, the dslr cam is charged and ready so for anyone wanting hi-res nice pix of their cars, continue to show up for this meet! it cant rain ALL day really so eventually the sun will come out... on that note everyone (if you arent already planning on doing so) should probably bring a towel to quickly whipe off the cars once we get there. i hope the majority of yall still go, this has been a long time coming and we're not gunna let a lil rain stop us are we?!

Weather report from central Broward County:

At 12:30 PM, it is heavy overcast and breezy 10-15 MPH. The roads are damp in places but drying. There hasn't been rain for several hours but some puddles persist in low spots.

Weather report says scattered T-storms and chance of rain 50%.

In about a half hour, I think the roads will be dry enough to roll Condoleeza out of the garage and head west to Markham.

Why do I call her Condoleeza? Because she's black, she's powerful, she's sleek, she's in the Rice family, and she has a space in her grille like this: /\

If it rains on her today, it will be only the third time since I have owned her in 2 1/2 years. Usually, when it rains, I take the Jeep.

yea but i also got RAPED by my friends TIBURON and the 3.0 CL, I FEEL SHITTY ABOUT MY 3.2TL thats got low mileage too on the engine. Only 64K and its a 99. Whatever, im just dirt slow i guess. I dont know if having a half tank or 3/4 tank of gas would of make a diff in performance or not but i know it does make a diff in Volkswagen 1.8T cars for sure. They cant run without have a heavy load of gas cuz there cars become dirt slow once they get to like quarter tank.

The meet went well. We had about 20 members there and some other straglers. In fact, there was a guy with a CL in the park, totally unrelated, who had to come over and see what the Acura event was. He joined in with our group car pic and I expect will be joining tonight. I believe his name is Bobby and he has a sweet CL, black.

The rain stayed away so that we could meet and greet and play "you show me yours and I'll show you mine."

The was a fine collection of rides that drew the attention of others in the park. They went from mild to wild. Here are some of the people that I know were there:

hey guys, i was the guy up in the tree takin pix. im currently loading the pix from the dslr, its 519 mb / 323 photos so ima resize/crop a bunch. we seafoamed slammed's car right then and there, it was entertaining to see the blue/white smoke pour outta the car hehe. i just realized that in that photo i took of the turbo CL the front lip looks like its gunna rip right off lol look:
