maybe you guys aren't listening to me. how are we gonna get HID shots at 3 pm? the sun in at the climax in the friggin sky. One person had an idea to have a meet near a dealership to promote them. SLVR, we gotta make some changes here. Sorry, but a supermarket lot doesn't exactly make for a nice picture background. c'mon guys!!!!!!!!!

Funny that you picked this Saturday in Alhambra. I'll be singing at a friend's wedding this Saturday in Alhambra, so I won't be able to make the meet. Have fun though.

The sun set is around 7:30 nowadays. To me, it doesn't really matter what time the meet is as long as it is in the afternoon. But unless other ppl wantss to hold the meet that late, your HID plan doesn't seem too feasible. If they are willing to show up that late, then we can move the time up to around 5pm, take pix, eat dinner and have the final shoot at the sun set? Will that work for you guys?
Ppl respond please. What do you guys think? Shall we move the time to 5ish?
Don't worry Boba. Supermarket Parking lot is not where we'll take the pix. That's only a temp meeting spot from where we'll drive to a park in Monterey Park. You can go direct to the park using Blue TL's map above.

Yeah i picked the supermarket, becauses it has a big parking lot and the corner is easy to find, what ever you guys want is find we me but if nobody shows up at around that time then i guess i'll just take off , were all guys here, do we have to be like the ladys taking forever to put make up and stuff. Just get up and go,
The meet is at alhambra, and that's the location if any objections please comment because we don't have much time, and from the vons parking lot we will head to the park together, we can take local and cruz, or freeway, the street is Atlantic, and make a right turn when you see Cadiz, the corner has a Dominos Pizza look for that and make a right turn, go up the hill till you see the park on the right hand side okie people.
Feel free to comment , if you guys want to do this we need help from everybody, if not then i guess this meet won't happen.

ivan - thanks for calling!
location is cool since i know the area well. it's on valley blvd (north side) between new ave (vons is just west of this street) and garfield. it is across the street from a bowling center if that helps. in terms of freeways, the new ave exit is off the 10 freeway between the 605 and the 710 (it's almost exactly dead center between these freeways).
3pm is cool too, but i gotta go by 6pm because i work that night (like all saturday nights). sorry!
so i take it that be there by 3pm at the latest, or be there around 3pm and wait another 15/30 minutes for slowpokes and what-nots???

Correct me if I'm wrong.....so its at the Von's parking lot at 3 p.m. in the city of Alhambra, and from there we leave for pictures at the park.....
Sounds good to me I'll be installing my wood kit that morning. Hopefully I will have it done before I leave for the meet...Baring any problems.

Well i'm gonna try to send everybody from city near so. cali a private meessege, to let them know, about this meet, hope i don't miss some of you guys, but if people love their TL's i believe they would visit the forum more often ,

yup, the date is saturday june 9th (the one that is coming up!)
time is 3:00pm sharp.
location is the alhambra vons supermarket on valley blvd. we meet here before heading off to a local park for some pix. how about we meet by the recycling center located on the same lot? this way we have a reference location and we can park along the sidewalk to get more attention!
in fact, i don't even know what park yet since i didn't bother to check the links!

There's a park in Temple City on Temple and Mission I believe. Racers meet up there on weekends. There's plenty of parking spaces and such. Don't seem to be too hard to get to off the fwy either.

Please stick to the original plan to meet at the Vons in Alhambra at 3pm (sharp) today. We will drive to a park in Monterey Park. If we do need to move the location, we need to let those already park also. Therefore, any last munite changes will be done at the meet.
