I hear you. I am kinda in the same boat, but i think everyone is wondering how early we need to meet to roll into the speedway and set-up. I am coming from 2 hours south of ATL, but i will actually just drive up Friday evening and stay at my mom's house in Atl. We need to decide where and what time to meet. It's gonna have to be early in the AM, but i am down for whatever time we want to meet. I'll just need directions to the meet spot.

 

I hear you both. I had posted that same question on page 8 and haven't heard anything yet. The original meet spot was suppose to be the parking lot of Value City that's right off of 19/41. If you're coming off of 75S/N on Exit 235, it would be after a couple of traffic lights passed the Burger King and right behind Krystals on your right. From that spot, it should be 20 - 30 mins depending on traffic if we were to roll by 6:30AM to make it to the raceway by 7AM.

 

That sounds like a plan- meet up at that spot at 6:30 and roll in together?

For you and foreveraflboy it really depends on when yall can get your stuff.

Zac, I'd like for everyone to meet up at the original meet location at 6AM and leave by 6:30AM at the latest to be down there by 7AM. If we try to meet at 6:30AM, it'll be too late if we have to wait for others to show up. I'm going to pick up my credentials this Friday so that I'd avoid all of that the day of the show. I just need to know where Gate 12 is located. I guess I'll find out when I get down there.

 

I agree with the 6am time frame....we all know not everyone will be on time. As far as the meeting spot can someone provide an exact adress for thoses with GPS?

AcuraCL1- I PM Ron about getting into his booth, but he said he had three cars already....Let me know.

I think it would also be a good idea if some of us exchanged numbers or at the least had the numbers of some of the key people just so we can communicate. Just an idea.

Another question- were is everyone staying?

I will be bring a tent and two coolers (NOPI rules said 14in...how picky are they) filled with water, soda, and so other good stuff. Also will try to get a few chairs.

Steve, just come up 75N from your location, take Exit 235 (Old Dixie Hwy), and take a left at the light. You'll come to another red light so go straight. There's going to be 2 more red lights and if you go through them, you'll be on Tara Blvd (19/41) . . . which will put your right by the Burger King. I don't think i'm gonna register, i want to but i have to work friday and saturday nights.. I'd get off way too late friday (4 a.m.) and have to go in way too early saturday.. I will be there, just not showing off the ride..

 

I guess I'm not going to be able to meet up with you guys. They want my car there Friday night, so I have to taxi it.

 

I can put RonJon's booth there with Acurazine. That is actually up to him if he wants to be there with the club.

Azine has 11 cars registered....

Gate 12 should be at the front of AMS near the main entrance.

 

If everybody wants to PM me their numbers, I will make a list and then PM it back out to everybody. We do need to have everybody's contact info so we can find out about their status on Sat morning or help if somebody is lost.

I plan on driving back up to Alpharetta and staying unless we can make arrangements with somebody staying close. Also- if anybody needs a place to crash you are welcome.. my place isnt huge but there is plenty of floor area I'm about 45 mins-1 hr north of the show.

Tents are allowed at the show but camping is not. As far as coolers- they weren't too strict last year.. just put it in your trunk if it's bigger than the specs.
