since i wasnt able to join you guys on the cruise through the twisties, i went today to see how bad the "pebbles" actually were. yup, that was pretty messed up for about 5miles.
but i dont think they weren't repaving the road, they do that kind of crap to make people slow down because those parts of the twisties were all along the edge of that hillside. i crawled through that entire part under 20miles/hr and i still got a shitload of pebbles and tar and other crap in the grooves of my tires.

heres just some rolling shots of my car and llwesmans. thanks to kspeckcls and his friend who was hanging out the window to get these shots. (I think people thought we were crazy) this is when we were caravanning down to fremont.
