NY MEET - Absolute Final Details

Date: Sunday, June 23, 2002
Time: 1pm
Who: CLers, TLers and all others welcome...
Where: Rockland County - By the Palisades Mall

DIRECTIONS:
Coming from Southern NY and parts of Jersey:
Take the I-287 (Cross westchester) WEST or I-87 (Deegan / NYS thruway) NORTH to Tappen Zee Bridge... Ext 12... Make a right off of the exit, make a right at the traffic light onto Route 303 South... Pass a traffic light (Motel on left),
THIS PART IS TRICKY!!!! either pass under the underpass and make a right onto Route 59 East and then a right back onto Route 303 North - parking lot immediately on your right... OR pass under the underpass and make a left (its an illegal left, but no signs are posted!).... Your choice!!!!

Coming from Northern NY and parts of Jersey:
Take the GS Pkwy, PIP, etc to I-87 (NYS Thruway South, I-287 East - Tappen ZEe bridge and exit at exit 12. Follow Signs to Route 303 South. Merge onto Route 303 south and Pass a traffic light (Motel on left),

what?! This morning I watched Good Day NY on FOX and they said it was gonna be 90 degrees and sunny!!!! What channel you watchin?

Sorry bro but I watch the weather channel. At least they have lesser chance of being wrong than the fake guys on the news channel.:P

Anyways, I can't make it if it's the following Sunday June 30th cause I got a dinner I have to attend.

But next Saturday the 29th would be good for me if we can't make it this sunday.

All right... well just because of you I checked the weather channel, FOX, WB, UPN, CBS ans NBC Weather reports... All were conclusive and said the same thing...

SUNDAY WEATHER:
88-92 Degrees - Humidity High - Chance of Thunderstorms...

To me that says a beautifully HOT and MUGGY day and rain at night... Hell yesterday rained and that was not in the forecast!!! Everday has a chance of showers... so I say it will be a GO!

Casper...i dont think im making this one. You know i would love to go, but the day before that is my graduation and then that night till like 6 in the morning on sun we have project graduation (basicly the whole class goes to like a country club and is allowed to do whatever we want.......basicly like an after graduation party without drinking) So honestly, i dont think im gonna be up for it that day, i beleve i will be sleeping most of the day, then i got to pack up for the shore since im there all summer and i think ill be leaving prob. like monday for that....so unfortunitly, i think im out. Id love to be involved in a shore meet, should we have another. Ill still prowel the boards once in a while while im at the shore even though i wont have my computer.

ok.. so sunday is nearing and I want to confirm the directions for those of you with NAVI... There are 2 adresses you can try to use (if they pull up)...

1. 81 rt 303 Nyack, NY (Volvo dealership) just past the dealership is the on-ramp for 59 East and you will swoopp around to the on-ramp of 303 North (the lot will be on the right of the right, entrance off the on-ramp...

2. 200 Corporate drive Blauvelt NY the Volvo Dealership and on-ramp for rt 59 is about 1 miles before this adress...

cant wait to see you guys there!!

Yes, but that motel (NYACK MOTOR INN) is a landmark. It will be held in the parking lot on the Rt 303 on/off ramp for Rt 59.

JUST TO NOTE TO EVERYONE: NEXT TO THE ON/OFF RAMP THAT THE LOT IS ON IS A LINCOLN DEALERSHIP AND A SMALL LIL GARAGE SHOP OF SOME SORT!
