I am talking to one of the guys at the CL forum and they want to have a huge meet with all the TL/CL owners and a BBQ as well.
I want to find out when you guys would want it. We were thinking of mid June so that everyone could make it and the wheather would be decent?
Here are the choices, Saturday or Sunday is cool:
Weekend of June
9, 16, 23

No electricity or gas needed!! BBQ with charcol!! during the daytime, nice sunny day.
yeah electricity sux right now.
Right now the plan was for a meet here in the bay area because that is where the majority of no Cali owners are at.
you're in fresno, isn't that a bit of a drive for you? about 3hrs i'm thinking.
There was also thoughts of maybe doing a California meet in San Louis Obispb. But that is gonna be really hard to coordinate.

It's about a two hour drive from Sacramento, not that bad, I won't know until that month. Keep the 411 coming, and hopefully I can make it.

The weekend of the 9th is cool for me... Let's set this up, maybe we can have the meet somewhere that we can also play some sort of sport. Come to think of it Gellert Park here in DC sounds like a good place. Hoops, softball field and park for kids and bbq pits. Just thinking of those family guys like me, we can also bring our wives & kids - watcha think...

wassup bro, yeah a park is a good idea. Softball or Volleyball would be fun. Really any of those weekends work for me but the 9th is cool too. I'll have a better idea once I move into my new place in May. DC is not too far, and a pretty central location. I wouldn't mind driving. I hope more people will be able to attend. ![](http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/biggrin.gif)
BTW, are you going to go to Hot Import Daze in San Mateo on April 28th?

Wassup, ya hopefully it'll be sunny on that day we plan it. Ya DC is kind of in the middle of things in the Bay, by the way there is also Coyote Point in Burlingame - Redwood City area. My friends & I are planning to go to HID in San Mateo don't really know till that week comes around, to much stuff going on & too many plans. If we all do go, all the TL & CL owners should all go there together. I'll make sure to bring the camera & camcorder for all those hot import cars (ya right) the models & the big booty _____! Well just let me know what is up & the final date that you guys plan the bbq.

Burlingame would be alright too. I'll send an email to the guy who is organizing the CL people and find out what he thinks of what we have so far.
I know that TLTypeS, AcuraTL are both going to HID as well and a few of the people in the CL forum too. I'll probably go too.
I will keep everyone informed about what is going on.

Technique,
Yeah I know you are the guy..![](http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/biggrin.gif)
I thought it might be easier to post a link to the info instead of email.
There's got to be a place around there, I have a friend who lives in San Mateo; I'll call him this weekend to find out if he knows of a place around there.
There was a suggestion of Coyote Point, but I have no idea exactly where that is.
Lets keep getting ideas for places. Have you found out a really good Saturday to have the meet?

Coyote point is in Burlingame - I think if you're coming from Frisco on 101 it is the exit right after Mike Harvey Acura. There is also Crystal Springs off 280 midway point of Burlingame & Daly City, that place is nice. We just have to set a date soon & also plan on someone being there very early, remember we are planning this in the summer time... Hope some of the suggestions help you all out. Remember be extra careful today, Friday the 13th & Good Friday...

Let me know the date and location when you figure it out. I'm flexible.

Yep, we're still gonna do it. Foster City/San Mateo area.
I sent Technique and email today about when the CL folks are thinking. Don't worry, i'll send everyone here an update and I will post info as soon as we firm up plans for it.

Wassup E- just found out, I'm gonna be out of town the weekends of the 9th, 16th & attending my god daughters b-day on the 23rd, so the 24th Sunday would be cool... No, whenever is fine, you guys just have fun... You might want to also invite the 1st generation TL/CL's & old school Legends... It would be nice to see the evolution of what Acura true sport luxury sedans are all about... Just my input... Peace D
