Alrighty then!

It's time to get this shiz started. The place is Magnuson Park in Seattle, on the water. However, I'm open to other idea's since I haven't booked the location yet. Please vote on the date using the POLL above.

The last summer meet that we had at Magnuson was a blast. We had a covered area, BBQ and access to the beach. I didn't get much participation last time with volunteers to help out. Thank you Mr. Boyer for stepping up and being the action shot sniper. PLEASE do that for us again.

I need volunteers to help setup, tend the grill and help clean up. This is a potluck event and anyone who can bring a mean picnic style dish is encouraged to do so. Thank you!!

Hardy harr! Yes I'll be coming this time. I'm not booking any appointments anywhere near that date. It'll be a busy time for me already. I sponsor a local car show at the Tacoma-Narrows Airport on July 26th. I usually have a few cars entered in the show. If any of you local Tacoma guys could make it there it's worth checking out. Lot's of high end show cars.

Sorry James..... I wish you could make it. Looks like all the votes are for the August date. I'm in Palm Springs until this weekend. I'm gonna call the Seattle Parks Department and set up our reservations for Magnuson Park on Monday. I'll let you folks know what the happs is.

I completed the application today for the reservation at Magnuson Park. I'll let everybody know as soon as I get confirmation that we have a spot locked down.

I got a call back from the events coordinator at Seattle Parks. She says that all of the spaces got booked out very quick this year. The only date left in August that we can reserve a spot is Sunday, August 31st.

I need some quick participation from everyone. Let me know what you think. Maybe you have a different idea about a location that can be reserved.

I appreciate the participation from the few people that are keeping in touch. However, the lack of participation from everyone else is not making this easy. Our chances at Magnuson are gone. There are no more summer dates available. This is why we rarely have meets anymore.

If you would like to have a meet and you have friends here on AZ or elsewhere that would like to have a meet please make an effort. Get involved and get your partners involved.

I need your help. Get online check out some parks in your area. Check the events calendar for a time when we can meet and not interrupt a booked event.

I got some bad news.

I won't be back until Aug. 9th, so I don't think I have to time to clean up my ride. Also, my wheels are still not here yet. They told me that end of Aug, but they are trying their best to have them in buy end of July.

I will call Magnuson park on Monday to make a reservation for Aug 29th?

I will set this meet up. I'm still going to need some support from you guys though.
