Lunchbox Jan 14, 2006 05:18 AM

I'm hoping to have a good sized shindig like we planned last year at the park... WITHOUT the rain!! And without the ricers. :tomato: You know? Washington. Oregon. Canada.

CJams Jan 14, 2006 09:17 PM

I still think it should be held South of Seattle. Like in Southcenter or even Tacoma. It always rains by UW. I'd also be very interested in another run to the border as well. Keep me posted.

Southcenter would be cool. But where could we stack 50 plus cars? On Saturday.
We need more input. Locations and such.

clay8898 Jan 15, 2006 12:02 PM

There is a place out by me called Frontier Park. That has everything we need to have a huge meet. Shelter, parking, barbeque. And my wife works for Peirce County Parks and Rec. She could get us a date and go from there.

I would be interested if it were on a Sat. And if we get a good amount of people drivin up with us.

CJams Jan 15, 2006 05:12 PM

Wouldn't Southcenter Mall parking lot handle that many cars? Maybe we can even invade Southcenter Acura? Maybe they'll sponsor it? That park out by Koyi sounds good!

If we cruise back up to :canada: we need to bring someone with a radar scrambler for the po po:whyme: I'm still fighting my last ticket from before the last meet up there.

Southcenter would be way to crowded and hectic to try and have a meet of this size there. We need somewhere away from all of the crowds. The park over by UW was nice last time, just provide accurate directions to the location this time.

Hey hey now. Those directions were just fine!! :ugh: I agree with you about the Southcenter area. Way to crowded. No place to actually gather a large crowd of cars. That park that Koyi is talking about sounds nice. I'd like to check it out.

Koyi can you get me directions or a web link. I'd like to drive out and take some pics.

uncald4 Jan 16, 2006 12:24 AM

Here's the link. No pics though.

Frontier Park Link....

I'll take a cruise this week to take a peek at the spot. I'd really like to be in a "high profile" area. Easier for people to find. And to attract more attention!!

CJams Jan 16, 2006 01:39 AM

That park sounds cool. And if it rains we can cruise over to Muckleshoot Casino's Parking garage. The top 4 floors are always empty and we can get some sweet pics on the roof:) I wonder how long it would take before security came and kicked us out?

We're still talking about it son! This is just a brainstorm. We've got to all concur on the meet spot before we book it.

That would be sweet. All those rides next to the freeway. I looked into that last year and couldn't get a date that worked with their events. I'll look into it.

CJams Jan 17, 2006 12:01 PM

My Wheels are still put up for the winter. Need new rubber on them anyways. But I'm willing to meet up still. The Dome sounds good to me.

uncald4 Jan 18, 2006 12:47 AM

I emailed the City of Tacoma and the Tacoma Dome authorities earlier today. I will let you folk know what they say about using the parking lot. :wish:

uncald4 Jan 18, 2006 11:56 AM

This was the email response that I got back from the Tacoma Dome folk...

The fee for use of one of our parking lot is $2,000.

Can somebody please help me out with this? We need to find a lot or park. Tacoma would be a great location. Seattle is always a great standby.

Let me know if any of you internet surfers can shoot out some emails to our local Tacoma authorites. Lets find out what our options are.

Thanks.

Our local mall parking lots are out of the question. None of our malls allow group gatherings. They consider it loitering and will fine us on the spot.

Next!

Th eone at TCC is good, and if its in the summer no students. What about Olympia? The park and rides are a good choice too. Any school parking lots?

CJams Jan 19, 2006 02:18 AM

FYIzzle - Superbowl party at my crib unless I win the season ticket Superbowl lottery after we beat the Cackolaki Panthers this weekend. Cuz then i'm goin to 8 mile to see the Hawks win the big one! All the Aziners welcome!

The is a park and ride lot just off the freeway by the Tacoma Mall. It's off the East 56th St exit. Also there is a Round table off of the freeway next to Mega Foods, during the summer they close off part of the parking lot for classic car shows I can see about that.

My Wife just informed me that the Ampitheater in Puyallup might be available. They have car shows there on the grass. I'll have my wife check on this for us.
