Haha damnit J32A, im never goin to see your 2G huh?

For the sealing of headlights, the best thing to buy is a rubber sealant from Nissan. It's the same stuff that is originally used to seal our headlights and is stronger and melts the same. We can split it 4 ways since one package($20) of it is enough for 4 cars and THEN seal it with some silicone for extra protection.

Cool, sounds good. I am going to look at the DIY for this to see what else I need as well.

Looks more and more like I may be able to make this one, depending on the time. I think I may install my illuminated door sills if anyone has any experience with that. Does anyone have a dremel tool or a small coping saw? I may try to do something a little custom with the door sills.

First we need to know how many people are clearing headlights. I don't have a problem with you getting some of it if they don't.

stupid's MESSAGE BOX......

IS FULL, so if anyone can contact him about setting the time and getting his address, cool.

BTW, has anyone ever had trouble getting their car inspected after clearing their headlights? My dealership is pretty picky when inspecting so I may consider going somewhere else for inspection after doing the clearing.

Taking ur car to another place that does not deal specificaly with acura might be the best bet.
This year took the truck to the gm dealer to get inspected, they failed me cause of the headlight color.
My thinking is if i would have taken it to another place and since all my lights match they might not have noticed they were different.

Yeah, in the DYI link that I posted above, it states that the front amber corners are reflective. I never realized this.

The dealer inspects for free since I bought the car there, but they failed me for having blue (shine white) bulbs in there a couple of years ago. I figure that they would fail me if the amber is gone. Even with amber bulbs top and bottom they may fail me. Not sure. I might stop over there some time and talk to the tech to see what he says. He will not recognize me if I bring up the question, no worries there, if I bring it in for inspection later as it will be like 10 months from now. Inspection is up in October 08.

Early works good for me too. I actually have something going on later that day. I'll be a new face in the crowd since I haven't been able to make it out to any of the recent meets but I may remember some faces from the Va Beach Meet/BBQ that I did this past summer (I hope to do another if some people would be able to help out). I drive an SSM TL-S. I may look into doing my illuminated door sills, but I am not sure how long it will take. Do you have an address so I can put it in my nav?

BTW, can't see the pic b/c I'm at work but I'll check it out when I get home.

Hey Dave, what time do you plan on heading out? I got your message and meant to give you a call back, things have been a little hectic lately. I saw the flyer, looks real good. I'd like to see the final. Maybe we can add some pics and the AZ logo if you haven't already.

^^Thanks...you golf much? Nice area, but it's a haul from my house. 40 minutes from Indian River Rd. It's cool though, I don't see any reason why I won't be able to make this one. I'm sure some people will be making a longer trip than I am though.

How long has it been like that? Known you for over a year, saw your car about half a dozen times, but I never noticed. Don't think that I knew.

The pics might be a little hard as we don't want to cover up the words, but the AZ logo can be set as a watermark easily. I will work on that before the mod party. On second thouhgt, might be able to squeeze in a few pics but they will be pretty small. Not a lot of gaps to fill in. But will you be able to see them in the pics is the question.

BTW, I plan on being there by 8 if not sooner. Not exactly sure how long it will take to get there. Probably leave at about 7:15.

Hey Dave, here ya go. Google images is my friend, I use it pretty frequently. Also, if you wanted to email me the flyer you have going I could try to mess with it a little at work. I am somewhat resourceful with computers. Then I can send it back to you and see if you like it. Of course you don't have to keep any of the changes that I make if you don't want.

As for the 2 tone, this has been since about September or October. Can't remember exactly. I don't think anyone has seen my car since then. My excuse is bumpers are always difficult to match anyway and even if you look at a brand new car the bumpers are sometimes different colors. Thanks for not being so hard on me.

Oh yeah, I forgot. If it's warm enough out I may put on the rockblocker that I got for my headlights and fogs.
