So we'll keep the 5:30 pm meet up time and 5:45 leave time for the Rockville Meet ... (unless someone thinks we should change it).

Does anyone that's meeting up in the Rockville spot think we should maybe roll from Rockville to meet the guys at the VA Meet Spot? Because we are rolling out by 5:45ish and that's plenty of time to make it to the VA pre-meet at Tysons by 6:30 when they are rolling out to the Mega Meet. That would be SO crucial for us ALL to have one picture of all of us & to roll into the Mega Meet together. It's not going out of our way one bit because we actually pass Tyson's on our route from Rockville to the Mega Meet. (Also, the sun should still be up so they'll be good light for pics!!)

For those of you who can not meet up prior to the Mega Meet and would like to proceed directly to the commuter parking lot here are the directions

From regions south of Woodbridge...
Take I-95 North towards Washington and look for the Route 123 exits. There are 2 exits and you need to take the second one (the exit # is 160B). When you get off onto the second Route 123 exit it will circle around the commuter lot and you can exit right into the lot off of the exit ramp.

From regions north of Woodbridge...
Take I-95 South towards Richmond and get off at exit 161 (Route 1). It is a left exit off of I-95 so watch out for this. Once on the exit, be careful of speed traps right after you go under the overpass because the speed limit drops down to 35mph. Go thru the first traffice light, cross over the bridge, go thru the second traffic light. Make a right at the third traffic light onto Gordon Blvd/Route 123. Stay in the right hand lane, continue on through the first traffic light and then you will see a sign for the "commuter lot". Make a right at the second traffic light and continue down the road, pass the hotel on your left, go under the overpass and enter into the commuter lot.

If anyone recalls the attempted tysons meet in va, I highly suggest we not stay there long, nor amass a large group of people there for any amount of time. No problem with some va people meeting up there first but I'm just reminding everyone that we will run into annoying problems with security if more than a few people show up there and stand in the lot.

Tele - Not in the same parking lot as Old Navy. To the right of the Silver Diner on the corner across 355 on and Montrose. If you turn left out of Old Navys parking lot onto 355 going towards Bethesda, go through that big intersection crossing over Montrose Rd/Randolph Road then take your immediate right into that shopping center. We are meeting in the big open parking lot there.

I'm trying to find someone that is 150% sure they'll be at the VA meeting spot to be in contact with me (via cell phone) so then when I lead the group from the Rockville pre-meeting spot we all can unite on the side of highway near Tyons since it looks like security is going to be an hassle.

Nick, not trying to be an here, but strategically, Tyson's is not a good place to converge with a large number of cars. For one, the mall security is tight an not very tolerant of a huge number of people standing around in their parking areas (we learned this the hard way a couple months ago). Second, there are too many stop signs embedded within the streets that encircle the mall, this greatly increases the risk that we will all be split up in transit (this is exactly what happened the last time we attempted to do this in Springfield). In addition, parking on the side of the highway and then speeding up to catch each other may be a bit dangerous in my opinion, not to mention the distraction we may cause waiting on the side . My suggestion is that we roll down as separate groups and meet at the parking lot at the top of the road that leads down to the commuter parking lot in Woodbridge. From there we canform one group and roll into the lot together Let me know what you guys think.

Mrs Lil Turbo4 - Yeah I know, the most up to date list (last posted my Leedog @ 10:00 a.m today) has the the 240SX next to your name. Its been correct since 3/20/06.

We will totally scrap the idea of the Rockville pre-meet crew connecting with the Tysons VA pre-meet crew @ the Tysons Mall.

Both groups will meet up right before the parking lot entrance VIA JPTL-S and I because we'll be in contact with our cells. I'll call JPTL-S and give him a heads up once we leave Rockville and then we'll all gather up before actually entering the parking lot. JPTL-S will be at the VA meet and obviously I'll be at the Rockville meet so it all should flow smoothly!



The TL I'll be driving so I don't look like a total different person as I appear to be by my little icon on this site. ha
