man it was fun hanging out with yall and of course driving like a mad man like ususal. Too bad everyone left before we had some head to head races....but all in all it was very fun...im soo tired now...so i'll probably post my pics tomorrow...

It was the Green Civic that got the ticket. They let everyone else go.
It was nice seeing old faces and meeting the new ones. I will post up pics tomorrow I am drained!

All in all it was a pretty good meet, just thought there should be a few suggestions to make the next one better.
It had some bad parts but the ending sucked for me.

I feel you on that one. When I came out of that last rest stop everyone was gone. I seen rear of one TL going up the street. So I was running back to my car to try and catch up. Never did.

Yeah Rondi in the green Civic got busted for 53 in 35 down hill when another car was in front of them. The ranger picked them out of the bunch and said they were leading the pack.

I was in the Yellow Prelude (with the Red 'Lude and JL's SilverS2K)...we met you guy's coming in the opposite direction.
It was great to see such a NICE group of Acuras and Hondas--and so many of them.
Lots of fun!
(Good to hear it was only one car that got busted on Skyline...although it def put a damper on the day.)

ok.... so my girlfriend and i stopped at "darkhollow falls" because theres a 1 mile hike down a trail to a 70 foot water fall that i've been to before... so there were a few families but since it was beginning to get dark we decided to hike back up to the car... we passed a family and were about 5-10 minutes after passing them and a deer was about 4 feet beside us on the trail... we kept walking uphill as the sun was going down and it was gettin dark but still light and it was VERY silent (with the exceptional cricket)... the ironic part was the whole trip my girlfriend said that she wanted to see a waterfall and a bear, yeah i know what ur thinking, and it happened, just as we were about a few minutes to getting near the parking lot we were walking through the trail in complete silence, it was a pretty silence, just hearing the insects and such when i thought i heard another dear, so i look into the woods and it was a FUCKIN BLACK BEAR... hahah i was like just walk fast... it was about 25 yards away but i wasnt about to take a damn picture since it was gettin dark and i was scared shitless!! shit was nuts, i'll upload pics from her camera when i can this week or tomorrow or something, just had to share our adventure... i still cant explain how scary that shit is in person even being so far away! it was just the fact that we were allll alone on this trail hahah, CRAZY

In the 2007 drive someone managed to get a picture of the valley reflected in the side of their car. I was trying to recreate that on this drive, but was unsuccessful. At the first stop on Skyline I was walking down the line of cars looking for a dark one that was polished that could give me a good angle. I couldn't find one (in the 30 seconds I had) so just took the pic of the S2000.
Glad you and your wife had fun coming out to the drive! Maybe I'll bring my wife out sometime. I think she'd like it.
I was the TL parked behind you for a while in Front Royal with the DoD stickies you noticed.
