I should find out tomorrow if I will be able to make it up there. Hopefully I can, and meet some more people.

A friend of mine (who was there with me last time, drove the 89 Max that needs some [a lot] of work) and I are trying to start a site (PM me for the addy) geared towards Rhode Island/Southeastern MA guys, so that things like this are easier to organize, since there don't seem to be too many enthusiasts around.

Quick update. Got off a Z forum and there's interest there so we'll be seeing some Zs at the meet. And one guy may bring some friends which consist of 2 Supras and an Evo. I also got off a RX8 and Evo forum and there will be some guys from there. Hopefully everyone will come out and it'll be a great meet.

Sweet man! Surprisingly enough, there's been alot of interest from the 350Z forum, so that will be pretty sweet. I've been updating the threads every day to keep interest and excitement up. I think people are really eager for this one, lets hope for nice weather and a good showing.

btw. what's an Scion Xc? There's only the xA, xB and tC I think...

I'm not sure why there hasn't been any real interest in this forum. Are people back in school or something? Hopefully people will just come since its supposed to be a good showing.

Man, I'm getting kinda nervous that this may be too big of a meet and Hopkinton State Park officials will kick us out or we won't have enough parking space...or maybe its going to be a big flop and no one shows...

well if it is big, then we can have a nice little tuner drive......and move somewhere else that bigger and better like a mall parking lot so then everyone could see!!!!

ohh yea i might not be makin it cause if i dont get 2 oem rims then i wont be drivin up, cause right now i'm on a spare and some random rim with a tiny tiny hole in the tire, and waiting for some oem rims to come in so its a small possibility that i wont be making it

Be there. Or be square.

There is a mall right down the road that I'm sure we could fit into, though it was a bit crowded last time.

btw. anyone know the parking situation at Hopkinton State Park? ie. what parking lot would be best. I'm trying to figure out a central location for everyone to go where it'd be the least crowded and I'm working off this map:

On my way home today, I'll take a ride over to the park and see the lots and where we can all fit.

That sucks about the rims, you got a check though so get buyin!

As for parking, I'm not really sure, I don't think the lot we were in last time will be big enough. It held maybe 40 cars total, it was the first lot on the right when you drove in. Maybe we should go deeper in.

Your a good man Means. Let us know how the parking looks. Is there an area where we would be able to park on the grass also?

Travis,

I think you have the parks mixed up!!!

The last meet we are at, was in Natick. This Next meet on Sunday will be at Hopkinton State Park In Hopkinton [about 30 minutes southwest]. I'd hate to see you drive to the wrong park!!

That would definitely suck!

Thanks for offering to check out the park after work. Let me know tonight and I'll update all the threads with a meeting place.

I'm thinking the lot at the end of Dogwood Drive would be nice and secluded.

VB-

How many cars would you estimate would be there? So when I look at the lots, I can try and make a decent judgement.

(25-50)
(50-75)
(75-100)

Wait, what was the name of the place we were last time? Or am I thinking of someplace else. I went to a Maxima hosted meet and 3-4 Acuras were there and I thought it was this place...

Oh shit, I didn't realize what was up with the thread. The first page still has info from the meet at Cochituate State Park, I didn't realize they got started and merged or whatever the hell it was that happened.

I wonder how long it is to this new place...

Maybe that's why I had trouble understanding the map...

I'd look for something around the 50-75+

Just make sure its not close to any bathrooms and any major trail or lake because that will probably be a crowded lot. Make it somewhere that is totally out of the way for people to go to, so that we have it all to ourselves if possible. Obviously make sure it'll fit a lot of cars. I'd rather make sure we have a big enough lot rather than have something too small.

Thanks again for checking it out for us!

hahaha...Yeah, cochituate park was the Maxima meet that we went to. That park is near the Natick Mall. This meet on Sunday will be at Hopkinton State Park. If you're driving up from RI, you'd take 95 N, to 495 N, to exit 20, take a right at the end of the ramp, and keep driving untill you see the entrance to Hopkinton state park on your right hand side. very easy to get too and is much closer to you than the Maxima meet.
