Hey guys im new to the fourms here and I live in KC I keep seeing posts about meets and was wondering if there are any meets in KC or close by and what exaclty happens at a meet. Sorry guys i feel dumb for asking this cause im sure its a dumb question. Thanks in advance.

Not really alot of population of the forum around these parts. However, on May 28-29 in Omaha, NE the National Integra Type-R Expo is going on. Only a few hours from you in KC.

I went to a KC meet in Leawood a couple yrs ago....good bunch of guys (see my homepage pg #4)

I don't see alot of the guys around the forum these days

leawood is where i live like a block from leawood park, I think we should organize a meet again and try to get some people to come.

I live in Lee's Summit and I just recently bought a 01 CL-S about a month ago. I joined the acurazine shortly thereafter so basically I missed out on any meets there were and was hoping to find a kansas city meet sometime soon. It would be nice to get to know some people that have knowledge of our cars as in I am just a newbie.

Yea im also new here just got my car about a month ago and love it. wish it had a 6 speed tho. used to drive a 5 speed and its a big switch but its still fun to drive

We can have one again, lets BBQ at shawnee mission park. Problem with earlier meets was all the younger guys always wanted it at a shopping mall or something. Which makes them last about 20-30m.

Jamie and Dave, whats up. I recently graduated college (dec) and I am back in the metro area. (first gen black with chrome wheels) I'm on dial up now and dont get much time in here anymore. But I would be down for a meet. Sounds good to me, we need to go to shawnee mission park like last time and have a bbq. Just need to make sure we PM everyone in the area for those who dont get on much anymore. Hit me up.

We should set up another KC meet. There is not many folks from Iowa or Nebraska (other than myself), but I think KC could be a good meeting place. Maybe something at KCIR.

We definetly need to have a kc meet and i think shawnee mission park would be a great place to do this a bbq sounds great. Im new here and dont really know people around here so i think it would be better if you guys set it up i would be happy to help but i am definetly down for a meet at shawnee mission park

Either one shawne mission or KCIR is cool with me. I am closer to kcir but I don't mind driving to the park. I am kinda in the same boat as Josh though about being new and not knowing people but hopefully that can change soon.
