Anybody know the tint laws in canada, especially at the border?

Well from going to clifton hill and seeing all of the ricers you sholdn have a problem. People drive with red lights neon beats bumping ect and dont get hasseled. Now where the us meet is be careful hicktown usa...and the cops suck.

I can still get alot of rooms. Its on the american side...will be way cheaper than the shearaton. Only drawback is it isn the nicest. Not a dump but not 5 star.

I would also suggest for the 21 over crowd to book a room in Downtown Buffalo. They opened a hotel(real nice) on the stip over there. you can walk staight to the bars and back.


Also the clubs/bars in NF, Ontario are lame as hell.....over 21 stay away.Just a FYI

you have to be able to see into the cabin thru the driver's and front passenger's window...20% is as low as you can go w/o getting hassled here. The there is no limit on the back 3 windows...they can be painted if you want:p . Oh, and just like each individual state has its own tinting laws, each province does to.

Everyone is invite not only the Honda/Acura family there will be many cars of all shapes and sizes. But the main ones will be Honda/Acura because of the sponsors

Will let everyone know where the location will be exactly as time gets closer. Still trying to see how big this event will be.

Alright I'm dizzy, i just read all 13 pages! I am from Long Island, but go to college in Buffalo. I see you guys are planning on meeting up there. I'll be there along with a bunch of other Si's, Type R's and GSR's. I should be turbo'd by then, and be on my second suspension set-up. The only question is will i have my new wheels by then...... for the people coming to canada with tints...when u get to the officer roll down all your windows so it doesn't seem like you have anything to hide....they won't hassle you as much....

one guy from buffalo came to one our rsx/accords meets yesterday he got hassled for an hour....he said he was going to a car meet!!! what a geek! anyways he still made it but he was hassled a bit....anyways hope to see you all there! this should be fun:smokin:

Hello all,

I have finally gotten a chance to register into this Forum. Ever since I bought my car last year, I have wanted to, however, just never got a chance.

Anyway, my concern here is whether you are all coming into Canada or staying in the States. This is because I live in Niagara Falls, Canada and let me tell you, if you guys have not been here lately, it has changed a lot.

I was wanting to tell everyone that the weekends in the summer, there are over a million and a half people here in a 5 1/2 square mile radius which is Niagara Falls. The place is PACKED! Especially on a LONG WEEKEND. I know this is getting long, but, I just wanted to know whether a location to meet during the day to exhibit the cars has been chosen, if not, tell me and I will see what I can do in regards to finding one. As well, if anybody is planning on staying in the city of Niagara and not heading off to Toronto, tell me and maybe I can hook something up down here with a motel or a hotel, and, as well see if the cars can be exhibited right on the property...just some thoughts, get back to me with what yall think.

I forgot to mention that I know a motel up here in Niagara Falls, Canada. Anybody interested? They have 21 rooms available for that weekend, 13 rooms with 2DB's and 8 Rooms with 1 QB. If anybody is interested, please do inform me. I think that this would alleviate some of the stresses you people are having with accomodations.

This place would be a central location, parking outside the rooms and, I am sure we could fit about 35-40 cars (preferably Acura's ) in this place for our viewing pleasure. I think if we check into hotels, it would defeat the purpose of a "meet". A meet is meant for the outdoors and if you are gonna stay in your room all day, why bother even having a meet? DOES ANYONE AGREE? Anyway, please reply if you are interested in this motel, it is small, nice & clean. It is not the 4 Seasons, but it is a place to dream about what your gonna add next to your TL. The only set back is that rates are going to be high across the board at every MOTEL and HOTEL IN ALL OF NIAGARA FALLS, whether you book in advance or last minute. THE WORST PART IS, that most of these hotels and motels will bump your reservations sometimes because they get more $$ for the rooms you booked. THIS IS COMMON PRACTICE IN NIAGARA FALLS CANADA.

This motel is again a nice place. The owners are really cool. We can be blaring music and barbecuing till all hours of the night provided that we take the whole motel for rent. Did I mention that the owner drives a TL as well? <hehe> As well, it would be pretty sweet to have all all of our cars at one safe place. Don't forget that you all have a lot of money invested into your rides and you do not want anybody messing it up or stealing it. THAT WOULD SUCK!

As well, I am looking for a large parking lot for the Saturday morning or Sunday morning, which ever the meet is on. If this is alright, can someone give me the okay to continue in my search just so I am not waisting my time. I would really like to help out as much as possible being that I do live in the city where you all are coming to visit. I feel like the HOST, so, let me be of service. To the guy who everybody was insinuating was gay on an earlier posting <in reference to the butt plug>, I am not offering that kind of service bro. sorry to disappoint.

Just in case you guys forgot u might want to look into Buffalo. Rooms will be cheaper and there is a better night scene there.

I know you that you Americans think you know how to party, but since yall are coming to Canada, check out the night life here. There is a city seven minutes away from Niagara Falls Canada that is absolutely great. It has a marina and the night life is great. Huge patio bars filled with young people having a great time. I ASSURE YOU, YOU HAVE MY WORD AS A FELLOW TL OWNER THAT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. DID I MENTION THAT I WILL POINT ALL YOU SINGLE MEN TO THE BEST STRIP CLUBS YOU WILL EVER SEE IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. These place is practically world renowned. I was in Cali about 6 months ago and some guys asked me where I was from, I said Niagara Falls, and all they talked about was this place up here in Niagara Falls, CANADA! As well, if you are looking for a room, your U.S dollar will go a lot farther here in CANADA - B~lo and BMW74 I think fail to realize this fact. The exchange rate for today was at 58%. That means, you give $1.00 U.S, you get $1.58 Canadian back, which is a wicked deal. Did I mention we have a Casino here as well for all you gamblers? And as well we have practically everything you could possibly imagine, which the so-called "B-Lo" lacks. Don't forget, for all the youngin's, the LEGAL drinking age is 19 here. And we have the best beer.

Anyway, this is just a reminder.

Dude im not making this into a Canada vs USA. Just want to let people there options. Yeah st cathrines is phat too. I just want the older members 22+ to know that Buffalo has a nightlife for everyone 18+ bars too 22+ bars ect. Buffalo's night scene is geared more for slightly older people than the 19+ NF bars. Plus its a whole strip and a hotel right on it which is new and very nice. Plus that weekend they shut down the street and move the partys outside.I have lived in NY most of my life so I know all the surrondings and have been to Canada numerous times.The strip clubs are the bomb . I perfer the nightlife in T.O more than Buffalo/NF/ST CATHRINES/HAMILTON combined. The Casino is not that great. Lately no one has been winning good.But the legal age is 19 in Canada so younger members I would reccomend Canada. I will be coming back home to NY from MI and will be happy to take any people to Buffalo that want to go.Also Ray Laks is about 10 minutes outside buffalo while NF is about30.

Cliff notes:Just letting people know their options so they dont think Canada is the end all.
