We're still working out the small details, but I just wanted to start this thread so that we could get some suggestions. The last meet was GREAT, but let's try to make this one even bigger!

Information as to the agenda will be posted as soon I speak with a few of you locals; however, most likely we'll be starting EARLY this time around, and some where in between we'll have a small cruise, a photo shoot, and some dinner.

Date: Suggestions? August 31, 2008? September? The later the better...we need to spread the word! Plus my car's going into the body shop this coming weekend :whyme:
Dinner: Suggestions NEEDED! Maybe somewhere a bit further - that way we have our "cruise"? BBQ?
Photographers: Stefan help? Others?

If we want this to be successful, I'm going to need EVERYONE'S help. What do I mean? I need SUGGESTIONS people, and for EVERYONE to spread the word. Including ALL non-azine members, AND to the other sub-sections of the forums as well - TSX, RL, RDX, CL, etc.

We'll get the "attendance" list started as soon as we figure out the above. PLEASE, if you plan to come, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add your name to the future list. That way, we won't be bombarded by the extra 20 some odd cars that happen to show up, as an example of course. :wish:

Sorry, but I will not meet in Alki. I really like the Kirkland area, but not sure about Juanita beach. Maybe, downtown kirkland?

I'm planning having a huge meet in Sept. because most of us aren't really ready for this and such. I'm currently in process of moving to different state so lot of things are going on right now.

My car won't be really ready until sept ish because my car is also going to body shop to get new paint job (some fags keyed my car, and also hit and run). My wheels got delayed like mofo so won't be here until late aug.

I will bring my camera as well, so feel free to bring you camera as well, more the better.

Let's really make this happen.

ERICA lolz. what ever happened to Lincoln park? i thought Frankie and them said bbq there? Kirkland sounds so far =/

alright, so the location is questionable. but looks like we'll go ahead and set the date as being tentatively on the 31st, of this month? maybe?

really? robert told me it was set for juanita beach park? i'm not familiar with lincoln park, but from the website, it doesn't look big enough to hold enough cars in its parking lot, PLUS we'll have to make a reservation - for one it's $100 and for two it needs to be put in 2 months ahead of the scheduled date. juanita beach isn't that far! it's basically seattle! lol just take the bridge across and you'll be golden. i'm open to other suggestions though on location - doesn't seem like anybody really wants to go to alki again...

Date's been set everyone for August 31; had to be set for Ron's sake, who was kind enough to sticky our meet up across all the sub-sections of the forum. YES, the date can be changed, but we'll have to okay it via Ron A, then have him change it...unnecessary hassle...blah :ugh:

Guys, keep it mind that this is strictly for AZ members, or at least an Acura meet. I don't want to be a dick, but having just random cars can really get out of control. I know you guys want to have a big meet like so-cali, but I perfer AZ members only.

Let me know what you guys think.

The reason I want to keep this thing some what small size because we have no right to take over any park without making a reservation. I would love to have a big meet as well, but things can get out control real fast. People always trying to do stupid shit, definitely don't want to get involved with local people and po-po.

If you guys want to have a import meet then this isn't really related to AZ anymore. Also, that's what HIN was for, or WA import meet and such.

I think 31th is fine, but might want to re-adjust our meet time because if we are going to have bbq then 4 or 5pm will be little too late. I think it should be around 1-2pm at the latest.

^ sure i'm down with that. the only reason why i left it open to "other non-azine members" was simply to be friendly. it's rude to say AZINE members only, don't you think? As for the reservations, the park in itself, as i've been told, is open to anyone - meaning a reservation is not necessary. appreciate the suggestions and concerns though. thanks.

btw, is anyone even up for a bbq? if not, i'm down for a cruise out to a restaurant...

Yeah, I think BBQ is too much hassle just my :2cents: unless the park has the grill.

the 31st is perfect, maybe around 4. that gives all the church-goers plenty of time to do their thing (myself included). a cruise and bbq would be swell. getting the drop before then for sure...

I think you and I had a little miscommunication here. What I was trying to say was that, it is okay to invite few friends along, but I don't like the whole idea of friends telling other friends, and those friends telling their friends as well. Rude? Well, this is AZ forum, and we are on the AZ meet section, right? so I don't see why we have to feel rude or sad about not able to bring other cars? Do I feel bad or left out when nissan people have their meet? No. If you want to have a random import car meet, then this should be posted on honda-tech or northwestracing or some where is big nw forum, not AZ. Don't get me wrong, I will be bring in few my friends as well. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say here.

Now for bbq, honestly, I don't mind rest. or bbq. I'm down for anything.

Tony's right. I personally would feel a civic or other hondas will look out of place. they may like kickin it with the AZiners, but i.e. if we take pix, we would want them to be a part too cuz we invited them, and if they are in the pix, it wouldn't look right, right? anyway, enough of that, i think most of y'alls know what Tony's trying to say here.

BBQ or dinner, doesn't matter to me. but dinner would be much easier :thumbsup:

and by the end of august, the weather would prolly get a little bit crummier, so the earlier the better, of course, consider the church-goers also.

I vote for Indian food even though I'm not going to be there.

Guys, you have to remember that we are going to be one big group. I don't think pho, k-dish, any other asian food rest. won't really work. I think the burgermaster might be the best place to go, since we are going to be around the area.

count me in!! and probably 1 or 2 more cars! totaling about 2 to 3 people per car!
