Ever wanted to test drive high end luxury sports cars ( florida)

Here is the list.... So far.

Corvette ZO6
Aston Martin DB9 Volante
Lamborghini Gallardo
Ferrari F430
Ford GT40
Bentley Continental GT
MERCEDES SL AMG,
PORSCHE TURBO,
MASSERATI QUATTROPORTE,
BMW M5
VIPER.
FERRARI MODENA SPYDER

Location is still to be decided, It will be either Miami or Ft lauderdale. You will get to drive each car for about 30miles on a open road route specially selected they will try to avoid roads with low speed limits.

The number of participants is limited to 20-24 to be fair to everyone, to give him or her time to drive each car.

There is a cost - couple of hundred dollars. Its still be worked out, but it will cover the following, all inclusive (Insurance, hospitality, breakfast, lunch buffet, drinks (no alcohol), snacks, gas, gift pack, certificates and free digital pictures on CD.

A VIP test drive meet like this normaly goes for $1000-$2000 per person, even to rent one of the cars above your looking at $1500-$5000 + per day.

I just want to see how much interest there would be in holding a event like this.

I was approched and asked If I was interested from a Ferrari dealer who owns a jet in the next door hangar, we got talking and that's where the idea came from, he does it from time to time for select people.

There is nothing in it for me other than been there on the day as a paying customer same as you guys test driving the cars I like alot but will never own, I would be arranging it just for you guys only. No one else will be able to attend as it would be a private test drive event. You might be allowed to bring 2 guests and they can ride in the back seats. ( cannot take turns driving)

Remember its just an idea and want to see what you guys think.

This sounds almost identical to a group that is doing this on a national level-going from city to city, but I cannot for the life of me remember their name.

And, that group has a questionable existence.

I would be interested, as well, if the price were right.

I'd fly to Florida for this, if it was really a couple hundred dollars.

Oh, my God... if it's really a couple of hundred bucks, I would seriously fly down there. It would be worthy every penny and then some.

Edit -- Would we have to pay for replacement tires??

the company is called 'World Class Driving"
the website is www.wcdriving.com

They hit different cities in the USA. I think one of the stops in the northeast is
West Point. I inquired about it and the price to drive the exotics was $795 + tax. and if you brought a guest (who would NOT drive but be a passenger) it would cost an additional $250.

Depending on when it is I'd fly down there. Its cheap on jetblue and this sounds like it would be fun.

Ok 1st off there seems to be a few companies doing the same thing ... It might be a spin off company I really don't know to be honest... I'll enquire, but the cost would be less since its a personal favor to me.

YoungnTLDrivr, I choose and select the people who go, its a private event for Acurazine members only, no exceptions.

We may have enough people to make this happen, so I will look into possible a date, but since many of you and coming from out of state, I want to give you guys as much notice as possible so you can get the lowest fairs.

Appreciate the update. For the right price (and supposing I can find a flight) I would totally be up for this.
