I'm glad to see all the CL's going to the track... I always wanted to have a bunch of CL's & TL's doing runs at Englishtown but It never seemed to happen. Now I live in Kansas City MO and its finally going to go down. Go figure.?

we should all meet inside at the pit area that's set aside for us...the $25 was b/c we're doin brackets and getting trophies...otherwise, if u don't wanna do the competition, it's $20 and u run with everyone else there, NOT in our lanes

I know you will need the helmets. I also think you will need long sleeve clothing like jeans and a long sleeve shirt or jacket.

Yes…..Someone please go over the “rules” for this event for the newbies such as myself.
Or is there a link to their website explaining how things are run?

Also….Here’s a pessimistic question.
If there should be an accident when racing I’m assuming you’re SCREWED because this is technically a “racing” event and most insurance policy’s forbid such foolishness.

between 9 and 2, unlimited runs, depending on how many people in general show for the marathon...my guess is around 12 it's gonna start getting crowded

i plan on being there by 10AM the latest and just doin the all-day thing

keep in mind this is like the last weekend of racing at Englishtown, so i suspect there will b many people getting in their last runs of the season...we have a wildcard, tho...cold weather!!! the colder it is, the more likely less people will show...seems we like to buck the trend...many cars like warmer weather, while we do not...in fact, i wouldn't mind if it was like 30 degrees out...see if NitroTiger can break into the 13's STOCK!!!
:P

let's not jinx the event, m'kay???

but the answer is yes, yer fooked...the crew tries their best to keep the track as safe as possible, free from wet/oily patches, but there's never any guarantee

in the past 2 seasons of racing down there, i have yet to see 1 accident, and i'd like to keep that record

1. are there going to be only TL/CL/RSX, or are there going to be integras too???...

2. if i come at 9 AM and say i'm there for "Acura Wars", i get unlimited runs till the event is over?

3. Since it's like a tournament, if i lose in the first round (around 2PM, i can't run for the rest of the day?

4. what if i bring a friend, does he have to pay 10$?

5. how many cars are you guys expecting to be in "Acura Wars" (20...50...100?) ? the less the better, i'm guessing we'll get more runs in...

I'm clueless, anyone have AIM that could help me out?

thanx to Shibby over on the RSX boards, the Tegs will up the number a fair amount...i'd say if we roll call about 50 cars total, it would b a fun turnout

Not to spoil, but shouldn’t there be some kind of “car to number” ratio on the price.
I mean if 75 cars show up and all pay 25-bucks it’s great for the track, but bad for the competitors because we won’t get much time each.

Scooter, what kind of attendance numbers did you promise the track to get that price ?

i didn't promise anything to them, so i dunno who's making out and by how much...we were given a flat rate, $25...there was NO stipulation that depending on the # of cars, the rates may fluctuate...as u saw in page 2, the official announcement that was e-mailed to me by Javier never stipulated a certain number of cars...but i'm sure they're hoping for at least a certain number to break even
