When we get closer to the date, we should see hwo many people are coming. We might have a hard time finding seats for all those people.

I hope I will have my car back by then. I should get to pick it up that day. If not I will be cruising in my Dads Z71 truck.

nitin,

you dont need the ramps to do the CAI. it can be done in about 1 hr if somebody there has done it before. i might be in chicago again real soon. i'm in KC for business right now, i got a lot of trips coming up soon so i'm not in the cities much. are you still up there every week?

actually I got pulled away to canton, ohio for a 2 week gig myself .. but on a brighter note, we just got asked to find a 6 month corporate furnished apartment/townhouse in the twin cities while the management sorts out the relocation details ...

umm relocation to minneapolis. wow, I'm actually excited. hopfully they'll make their final decision in the next few weeks. I'm coming in on monday next week, I'll call ya this weekend when I get back home (south bend) .

howz the new job treating ya? any soccer games coming up in the cities?

thats fine.. we all got love. Plus i already invited some maximas to come.. i think maybe like 5 of them are coming. And about the tinting place... Hmm whats the name of it?
I went to Carsmart, its in Hanover park , off of barrington rd. Also another place that i know is called Mid-America tinting, its off or morse Ave. They are in Schaumburg. Let me know if you need any more info.

the yellow pages list it as "auto glass only." i don't know if thats the actual name of the place though. the other places listed are midwest glass tinters and mid america glass tinting. which one do you think i should try for the best service?

for the past 3 cars i have gotten tinted... I went to mid-West tinting.. those guys are great!!! But since the service is soo good, there is a waiting list. So you should call now and make an appointment, they might not be able to take you for 3 weeks or so. But they do great work and they stand by it!!

you know, im sure we can do the ramp/CAi at the meet, i forget that we dont really need to lay on the ground for the CAi install... So yea ramps would be good, well what i meant about me hearing it wouldnt work, is that people said the front end would scrap while gong up the ramp if the car is lowered... but have you tryed going up the ramp?

me too, I've got blue. i cant wait to get it in and see what it sounds like. i wonder if the scraping is for those using eibachs ... which lowers more than the comptech. its almost slammed. but i will try out the ramps and let you know. i dont even know what it takes to install the cai. regardless, sounds like it might be a good idea to just wait and bring it up to the meet so the three of us could hook it up together? hopefully theres someone there who has done it before?
