early May or late April....if the weather is good. It wouldn't be fun if we all got together if it was cold and/or raining.

Hey Astro, how are you going to get down to the meets? You got someone to drive you and your ride?

I'm sure it won't be a problem for me to get someone to chauffeur me in my car, if not, I'll drive

Hey everyone,

New to the board, just bought a 02 CL-S beg. of Feb. Wondering how many others in the area got em, and whats done to em!

Anyone already got the Apex-i World Sport Damper coilovers? I'd love to hear if their good, and how low it drops it, etc.....

Anyways. Hope to hear from you soon,

Dave

Hey Dave
welcome to the community

I have Zeal coil overs, so I can't comment on the apexi's but I think they are supposed to be pretty good!

how do you like your CL-S so far?

Hey Astro,

Love the CL-S even though I haven't yet had a chance to WOT her without the Traction Control / Stability Assist light flashing like a disco. Oh well... guess I'll have to wait till the good weather and some summer tires.

How do you find the Zeals? I originally asked someone at Johnston Research & Performance (JRP) about Zeals (by endless right?) and he said I wouldn't like them, and that they would shake my guts out!... He suggested the apex-i's for a trade-off between performance and comfort!... How do you find the Zeals... do you like them!

who do you talk to at JRP, Steve?
I find his prices to be a bit high sometimes...altho I have purchased soem VW parts from him in the past...
I haven't put the Zeals on yet, but there is a member here who has, and they commented that on the softest setting they are very much like stock, but if you crank them to 6, the hardest setting they are like rock hard racing shocks!
I'll be putting them on in the spring so I will let you know
the CL-S is far more fun in the summer, that's for sure!

Amir, call Al Solaroli...his adress is 40 Melford Dr. it's just of Tapscott which is east of Markham Rd right off Finch.

He is my Porsche mechanic, but I'm sure he'd put springs on your car for you.

His number is 416 332-1100

last year i asked sherway acura how much theyd charge to install springs (out of curiosity) and they said theyd do it for $150 since im a regular customer there. not sure if that offer still stands though. that price is better than most import shops

whats up guys,

steve, those mods are

cant wait till you get them.

I dont have ICQ anymore, I have MSN and AIM

MSN - amirsafdari@hotmail.com
AIM - amirsafdari

Anyways, for the Niagra meet, i'm gonna be ghetto and come for probably 1 night, or maybe I'l just drive there morning, and come back at night on saturday and sunday...its only 1.5 hours, and i dont like staying in ghetto hotels..haha, so i dont wanna pay 200 for a decent room when i could just drive home...

also i'l be saving up for cancun, so thats another reason..i dont wanna be spending money during that time.

my mods coming on in a few weeks are:

- my rims
- comptech front springs, and H&R OE rear springs (1.25 drop) it should come out to about 1.5 drop all around cause of my subs+3amps
-MattG Grille is on the way

And in April I should have
-HKS Drager
-Custom plates I ordered, (takes 8 weeks )

Robb, I decided we need to bring the Bling to Toronto. Honestly every car I see around here has sport rims, and I hardly see any cars that look lux/pimp/bling ... your car is the only exception really...

haha i'm talkin smack right now kinda, i got a car wash, and it started raining so i am staying home on friday night so it doesnt ruin my wash...

<--ghetto

Ontario meet and new site

Hey guys... can't wait till the meet!

If you guys want to organize an ontario meet before the niagra one, you could direct the traffic to my new site just launched yesterday!

http://www.tourc.ca

Click on the Forums and make a new thread for CL meet or something.

If there are details that are finalized, I don't mind posting them including maps etc... in a central area on the site / it's own page.

Anyways.... the sites just getting up an running for Ontario people, cuz there's not much for us canadians so hope you enjoy.

NOTE: I just bought my summer bling, and I'll be rollin on APEXi coilovers with Racing Hart 19x8 C2 multi-piece wheels and Yoko 235/25/19 rubber. I'm also mounting a APEXi RSM guage in the sunglass holder..... can't wait to meet you guys, and hang out with other CL owners.

Hi astro

How are you doing, Astro? Long time no talk. My car hasn't been quite lucky lately. First, my passenger seat doesn't fold anymore. The, I got a door dink by some rusting old car even I was parking miles away from the entrance of a mall. Last week, the curb at the stupid Hilton parking lot put a big scratch on my rear passenger side rim.

How is your new TL? Still driving it?

What do you think of the new 2003 CL-S? I may consider it if I get really upset if the scratch on the rim.
