Calling all AV TL's!!!
Just a little roll call...
I was throwing around the idea to gather up at one of the local parks, and BBQ or something locally. So far I know of 2 pther AV A-ziners.
Lemme know who else is in the Palmdale/Lancaster/Quartz Hill area!

heres an idea.
carry a post it pad with you. in the event you encounter a TL or CL, regardless of gen, post sticky under wipers with the acurazine site + your username.
spread the word.

the 'Antelope Valley'
its what they call Palmdale/Lancaster and its neighboring cities. Even though there are no antelope out here.. at least none that I have seen.

I havent seen antelope either. Although I think back in the day when the Antelope Valley was first inhabited by white man, there were Antelope grazing the desert floor.
Then the white man killed them all and ate them, and when they left to go eat more animals somewhere else they decided to name the valley "Valley that once had Antelope but not anymore cause we ate them all" but then realized that that was too long, and changed it to Antelope Valley.
Thats my story and Im stickin to it.

I don't think san pedro is a local area to lancaster ;-) If they drove all the way down to san pedro, it'd be an LA meet, not an AV meet
ill keep that in mind when mikes car is up and running again though. but for the time being, unless theres a major meet, im sure everyone would prefer local.

uhm, from the OC to the AV is about 1.5+ hrs, if you take the Crest. All freeway would put you around 2-2.5+ depending on traffic.
OC to San Pedro would be about an hour, if that.
once Mike gets the Habanero up and running again, we'll do the San Pedro thing. For now, I'd like all the local CL/TL peeps together for a meet... even if it is only 3 of us. haha

yea... and it was a disappointment in terms of turnout
so-cal reps hard, but not when 2+ hrs of driving are involved

anyway, I totally didnt mean to post that 3 times, I think my comp was having to much fun....
There was a guy from Lancaster on here that I took to the 818 meet last year.... or early this year, and after that meet I never heard from him again.
Hope he didnt die.

well she gets off at 330. but she wants to be no later than 630 in valencia at her friends husbands tattoo shop.
