I think this is an awesome idea. I haven't been on a mountain run in almost two years since I had my bike.

Lets discuss what day or weekend would be the best to get the best possible turnout!

If you guys wanted, we could even make a weekend of it and go camp at Deal's Gap aka the Tail of the Dragon. I did this two summers ago, we camped from Friday - Sunday at a badass campground, Iron Horse Lodge , which was a blast. Drank, cooked out, and played pool at night; and slayed the ever-living out of the Dragon at day.

If we go during a popular weekend, the fuzz will be out in force. When I had gone, it was during a weekday and we didn't see any fuzz at all. So, that's something to look into if we decide on a weekend at the Dragon.

^^excellent point. all of my buddies who've been there advise to go on a weekday if at all possible (way less traffic!)

I am definetely down for a North GA cruise... I have hiked the entire GA stretch of the appalachian trail, and its beautiful up there. Neal's gap is a great place to go, but there are also a lot of nice mountain roads up in Ellijay (if your coming up 75 and you take 575 its only about 30-40 minutes}. I'm sure the further out we go the less fuzz tho... We should def be carefull tho, North GA is crawling with motorcycles and some of those turns are killer!

ALSO! if you guys are trying to avoid the weekends, the week starting july 14th is free in my book (vacation)

I didnt put July 5th because the po-po will be out like.... well, bad for the holiday weekend.
That way, we can decide which weekend will work best for us!
