Atlanta Meet June 7th
 

Since Will's last day in the US will be the 10th, let's send him off with a bang. Also, this will be a make up date for the rain out meet we were suppose to have at Stone Mountain last month. So, does BBQ at the mountain sound good or shall we try a different location? And hopefully the weather will cooperate with us this time. If not, let's eat in the rain with umbrellas above our heads. :D

Sorry guys have not been on here in a few days. I've been trying to get ready for the big move to Japan. I'm actually in Decatur right now for the weekend. Thanks T and everyone else for trying to get this meet set up. I look forward to hanging out one last time before me and the family roll. Man i'm gonna miss my car, but they'll be some nice ones in Japan to drool over. :what: I had someone want to buy my TL, but i'm gonna stick with my plan of storing it untill we come back from Japan. So what is everyone bringing for the BBQ? We can bring paper plates, napkins, cups, and :wish: utencils. I also can buy a cheap grill that i can just toss when we get done.

Be great to meet the other TL owners in ATL, So if I get my car done by then and have it running... Count me in!!

I hope you can make it, dude. I think everyone on this forum would love to check out your mods! LOL

I'm having furniture delivered that day. It was the only day available. :(

I hope they will do a morning delivery. That way, I can still make it to the meet.



And my car is in the shop for drivetrain problems. They are not sure what's wrong with it.

Thanks for the PM TY! I have dinner with my Brother and Father-in-law for their joint Birthday, but that is not until later on that evening, so I should be able to come through. Count me in!

What time is the meet going to be from.

I hope you can make it, Pure Adrenaline. It seems like every time we have a meet here, something goes wrong. :tongue:

As for the meet time, I'm thinking 1PM or 2PM since some of the guys from Alabama are coming over. We'll probably have it until 5PM and that should be plenty of time to eat and check out each other's rides in case some of us need to head out early. I, too, have another engagement going on that evening.

The furniture is actually coming in from Atlanta that day. If you guys feel like hijacking the truck The Fast and The Furious style, then it would help me make it to the meet. I wouldn't have to sit around waiting for it all day. :D

Why don't you use one of those U-Haul rent-me-for-a-day trucks and tell them that you'd like to make a local pick up? That way, you can make it to the meet. :rofl:

Yeah... there's just something not kosher about pulling up to an Acura meet in a U-haul truck with a sofa in the back.

I guess we could always party in the back of the truck... :what:

Meet Time
 

So is it gonna be 1 or 2 for the meet time. Either time is good with me since i'll already be in ATL. Man you never really know how much S*** you have untill you have to move. I have all sorts of crap i did not know i had now that the movers are packing. Anyway put me down for utencils,paper plates,napkins, and maybe a small cheap grill. My other one got packed already so i can buy a cheap throw away one if i need to. :thumbsup:

i feel ya man! we've had to move twice in the last 12 months (due to my job) and had no idea how much crap we had! thank goodness for movers!

i'm gonna try to make this meet as well. looks like a great turnout so far!

well i should be off saturday..lets hope it doesnt fall through..

Well we turned in the keys to our old place, and all my crap has been packed, and it's on the way to Japan. We're in N.C. visiting my sister-in-law, and mother-in-law. We'll be back in ATL on thursday. I'm looking forward to the meet if all goes well it should be a decent turnout. :thumbsup:

I can stop by publix and grab some wings...maybe bring something for the grill too.
Oh, and either time works for me.

Let's meet at 2PM so that we'll all meet on time. If you're coming in from the main gate, which most of us will, meet up at the parking lot by the river boat. Across the street from there will be picnic areas. That's the same spot we were at last time. Call me if you guys are lost.

David, do you know if any other people from Alabama besides Pure Adrenaline will be coming, too? If not, let them know about the meet. :D
