yeah from what ive been reading here is that if you guys want to have it in nipomo park i dont think that is a good idea. i live bout 20 mins from there and it aint that nice if your planning on haveing alot of cars and poeple and stuff like that. Fresno looks alot better and if you guys have it in SB next year then that would be really nice its really nice there so yeah. nipomo has nothing around it just dead grass and a vons gas station down the street..lol... nothing exciting to see in nipomo.. oh yeah i forgot they got a chevron gas staion with a mcdonlds build next to in as one building.. lol..WOW.. And if you go on sat and sunday to nipomo you can hit up the swap meet... lol thats bout it. i think if you guys want to replace nipomo you shoud replace it with pisomo, SLO or avila beach. but fresno would be really nice tho...

ALL I can say is: ADVERTISE ADVERTISE ADVERTISE, fliers would be a good idea to make, and BAnners so thatyou canpost them online at various enthusiast sites.
I would just google all the Acura forums and copy and paste posting/threads.

Maybe we can ask the board to allow us a sign up page on azine, something like...www.acurazine.com/all-cali-meet2009. Something with a master sign up list. That would be easier to a lot of people from other boards that don't want to read all the pages from the thread.

try to remember that if you advertise for this....there will not be enough room for the amount of people that could possibly show up.....

because of our 300+ subaru yearly meets, this year we were either looking to go back to the same place (Joseph D. Grant County Park on the back side of Mt. Hamilton, or Stafford lake county Park which is in the north bay, marin county). Both areas capable of having beyond 300.

you might want to think about that if advertising brings more people than the park can handle

Dont worry about the space... the pics I posted are less the 1/4 of the parks total size!...

Within the park there are

"4 other large parking lots"

"enclosed dog parks"

"A "Japanese Garden" with koi ponds etc.(extra fee to get in.. but totally worth it)

"Miles of Mountain Bike Trails"

"A 2500 seat ampitheatre" (Hosted 2 MMA fights this past year with Chuck Lidelle & Forrest Griffin... not to mention music acts & comedians)

"Some Fishing" (not sure if they allow it... or people just do it, but I see people fishing there all the time)

"Lots of nature stuff... like hidden waterfalls with ducks & peococks walking around"

Gunna be a great meet.
(I dont think it will.... but if for any reason this gets too big for the park... I have a PLAN B that is Capable of holding a meet that size, but I wont get into that yet.)

specifically, the BBQ spot and the parking to go along with that spot.

unless you are thinking that the "extra" people would be spread out around the whole park, at the MMA amphitheater, and the dog park O_O

how many people can "the bbq spot" hold?

I don't think it is wise to really advertise this all over the place.

Keep it Acurazine...

That is why we are having an Acurazine All-Cali Meet...to meet up with our fellow Californians that we chat with on the boards.

Anyways...that's how I always saw it.

i think we should keep this ALL Acurazine members, like Hey-Suse said, that's the reason why we're meeting up is so that we can all rep Cali and meet fellow AZiners from different parts of Cali

There's always a few bad apples out of the bunch that would cause some kind of drama to a meet this size. I would also like to keep this strictly Acurazine members, family and friends only.

"Master list" would be great but not to encourage other boards.

We need a list to begin to get a sense of each member that is planning to attend and how many guests he/she anticipates inviting.

I know it's too early for some to forecast but this would be helpful in determining how much interest we have here in the meet.

BBQ shelter can seat 175 (7 long tables @ 25peple per table) (per city guidlines) but It could probably hold more... how many people could be siting all at one time anyways??

PLUS we have 5-6 tables next to the shelter than can seat an extra 30 give or take.

Parking lot can hold an estimated 160-180... I lost count after 140.

There is another similar shelter across the stream, less than 200feet away, with its own lot if we need it. I will post up a charted skyview from google maps when I can.

I agree with Svang 5 all Acura's sites should be made aware, all that will happen is it will allow Acurazine to become the Premier Acura Site on the Net, I have posted up over the last week on Club RSX, And the response has been incredible, There site also has a caters to TSX, TL as well, the more Acura's Fans the better.

TrioD will propably end up the King of Acura
