Hi Guys,
I wanted to give you a quick update. I told the Jay Wolfe people that our meet would start at 12 noon at their lot. I will get there early that Sunday morning to help coordinate things. It looks like the owner's NSX will be there and the Integra R. I was told the NSX has $35,000 of high performance modifications to it. By the way, the $35k is dealer cost price !! When I get back, I'll confirm lunch from the dealership and trophies (which they already talked to me about). So we need to figure out categories for these prizes too. I'll be back in KC tonight late, so I'll talk with Jay Wolfe tomorrow and make some final arrangements.
I know they'll have discount service coupons and more.
Plus, they suggested opening up the meet to TSX and RL owners too. I asked Fulani to please post an invite on the TSX and RL portions of AcuraZine.com. Please PM me if you guys have any questions.

More Final Arrangements For The KC Meet
Guys,
I met with the Sales Manager from Jay Wolfe Acura today. Here's some final arrangements for our KC Meet on Sunday, May 4th at 12 noon.
Jay Wolfe Acura will provide:
1. Lunch for people attending (so we'll need a good head count)
2. Trophies for cars participating in the meet
3. Service Writers and/or technicians that can talk tech with us about the cars.
4. Discount coupons for service, oil changes, etc.
5. Other Acura goodies for hand-outs.
Plus, the weather will NOT be a factor. They will clear out the front lot for us to hold the Meet. But if it rains, we will be able to pull the cars into the Service Department to have our Meet.
AND...the owners NSX WILL BE AT THE MEET. This is the one with over $35,000 in high performance modifications to it. And the $35k is the dealer cost on the mods.
AND...the Integra Type R will also be on display. It is a yellow car and from what I understand-very rare.
AND...(this is new to my post updates)...The NEW 2009 TSX WILL BE ON DISPLAY FOR ALL TO SEE TOO !!!!

(just imagine how many people driving by the road are gonna be turning heads, good marketing scheme for Jay wolfe

This is gonna be sweet...Since I just got mine, I will have no mods, but will be excited to see what everyone else has done with theirs. I'm a previous Accord owner, had mods there, but kind of want to keep em simple..Anyway, looking forward to it!!

Just wanted to iterate that this meet is for all Acuras reguardless if you have mods or not. The competition is just a secondary thing for fun. What matters is getting some awesome cars together, get some new ideas, talking shop, making new friends, and having fun.

Just a thought, will any of you guys/gals be willing to meet up on saturday and snap and take pics in downtown KC. Should be some nice backgrounds with the lighting etc. Seen some people who took pics in New York City, San Diego, etc. Turns out real nice.

As far as Saturday night goes, Micheal (DiZlAoSbOiSoFlY) is having his B-day party that night and is going clubbing. If I remember right he said people could come to that. Also I thought about grilling out at my place in Olathe and having the people over that are going to the meet. Let me know if anyone wants to grill out, if not then I might just hit the clubs myself.
