TSX Tiger

Went out 2 days ago, then got stuck on my hill covered in ice. A Warning light came on the dash, I think the ABS failing, the symbol is an orange ! inside a triangle, it flashes if you skid. No shit ! but I wanted to make it up to my garage.

If the orange ! inside a triangle flashes a certain amount of times (ten, me thinks) then the transmission autoshutoff's. Lame! I guess it would help if you fell asleep at the wheel or had a hear attack, ect. But I bites if you are trying to power up a hill in ice.

Tried on the Laclede Snow Tire Chains Model 1038, they are HUGE and don't fit even on the smallest setting. They say they fit 215/50- 17 - which is so wrong. I didn't try to drive with them, because it was so loose, it would have flapped around the wheel well and done damage.

thats just the traction control unit thing. If you look on the left side where the foglight button, there is a TCS button, if you push that and its the same light, then its the traction control unit. I just lets you know when you have traction issues, well from what i understand. But when it comes on, its just telling you the tires are not sticking, no big deal. if you bought new rims and the tires are bald, it does that as well, well it did it to me.

i feel you on trying to get up an ice hill
took me almost an hour to get out of my parking garage a few days ago. had to get hot water from my apartment and run back and forth to melt ice then had 2 of my buddies help push the car rocking it back and forth.

soo bad.

Sooo glad the freakin snow melted. Feels good to drive my car again. Really hope we dont get anymore snow this year... Havent had a chance to work on my car, its been too cold or I've just been lazy haha.

wow... insane snow stories guys haha... yeup the meet is still up on the 11th of Jan, and its only a few weeks away!!!! and Today was the first day i was able to drive my car out of my own street... I tried to drive it on Friday, but the slush was sooo bad, my car ended up being stuck for an hour...
