2009 Hampton Roads International Auto Show
We are currently planning a meet in conjunction with the HRIAS. We are planning to meet on Saturday, January 10th at Noon in the parking lot of the Virginia Beach Conference Center. I attended the show last year and it was better than I expected (I am a New York International Auto Show veteran).

I was just curious if you guys thought it would make sense to meet up somewhere before getting to the car show so we can park somewhat near eachother. I was thinking maybe the McDonalds on the corner of Birdneck and 19th...
or maybe the church just a little further up the road to make it an easier in/out access.

If you want, Jeff you can swing past my place when you are heading to the highway and we can head out from there. Or, if anyone else wants to convoy from Indian River Road, (Adrian?) we can all just meet at the lot behind Shoneys. Just let me know.

Hey Jeff, I will need an address for Shoney's. BTW, if Khristen wants to come out, my daughter will be along. She is bringing her boyfriend along, but she will like it if Khristen is there. That is if she wants to.

Actually Khristen will be going. This is one of the few car related things that she likes, so she actually wants to attend.

Pics from the 2009 Hampton Roads International Auto Show
Even though performance didn't seem to be the highest priority with a lot of the companies, we still managed to spot a lot of sexy cars and a some HOT performers that I can't wait to see out on the street. Here is a slideshow from the shots that I was able to get at the meet. It was having trouble getting good shots off, so if you all have more pics that you would like to share with me (so I can add them to the slide show) I can pm you my email address so you can send them to me. It was great spending the day with you guys.. (as always) Looking forward to a KICK ASS meet for Superbowl Sunday. Please help spread the word and start adding names to the list early so we can plan accordingly and help draw more interest.

Nice hanging out with everyone again...it's been a while since I've been able to make it to a meet. I gotta make an effort to do it more often.
I haven't downloaded the pics I took yet, but I don't think I have anything more than what you have.
No problem helping, I'm glad we were able to get you back on the road fairly quickly and doesn't seem to be damage to the wheel. Keep me updated on how it goes with that. I wonder if they can determine what happened.
Btw, Khristen and I will definitely be there for the Superbowl. She thought you and Angelique were really nice and fun to hang out with. I'll add our names to the list.

Either way I lose because I am already out the legal fees and court costs, plus the cost of re-modifying the exhaust with resonated midpipe/cat/ etc. Oh well.. such is life here in VA Beach!

Those pics came out awful.. either too blurry or too many people in the shot. I was really bummed. Same with the Porsche, Jaguar, and a few others that I tried to get. I am hoping that Jeff's pics came out a bit better than mine.

The burning was my left rear tire as it just disintegrated while we were rolling up to the convention center. Not sure exactly what happened yet, but I have to wait until a week from Wednesday for my new tire to come in. Fortunately it looks like I was able to stop before damaging the wheel, but I will know more when they try to mount the new tire.
As for the exhaust and the BS reckless ticket - I am meeting with my lawyer again on Friday to discusss things with him.
