Hometown Buffet =

 

It usually rains more in the north bay and less in the south.

If it does rain we should go for a little drive over to the parking garage at the Great Mall.

 

Im not going to tell you guys what happens at the hometown buffet out here. Maybe i will tell you guys after the meet is over incase we do go there LOL!

I never heard/been to that Sliders place. I need to check it out...

As far as food, we'll see. I hate Hometown Buffet from my college day, lol. Here are the restaurant within 5 min driving that I remember:

- In n Out
- Applebee's
- Happy Buffet (chinese buffet, imho suck!)
- Banana Leaf (Thai; prett busy!)
- Red Brick Pizza
- Happi House (Japanese fast food)

If I were to eat, I say Applebee's.

 

I'm down for anything but burgers and pizza.

Here's there number: 263-3939. I guess you can call and reserve a place for 20 people at xx:xx PM. The place is right across the street from BestBuy.

 

Applebee's is fine with me.

Applebees is good but I don't think their seating chart can accommodate a group....from what I remember.

i third for Filipino food

 

just a suggestion folks, theres this small mom & pop pilipino bbq place nearby where we're gonna be at called "Pinoy BBQ atbp" and they make good food for low $$. I highly recommend the pork bbq on the stick (u Pinoys out there KNOW what I'm talkin' bout) and they also make bbq chicken & other Pinoy dishes...just throwin' that out there.. I know for a fact they don't overcharge like "goldilocks"

 

shoot, 2:00 is late as hell....There's no way we can chill/wait for that long.

I vote for the Mom and Pop Filipino BBQ place.

 

the meet is at 12:00. If people show up late, that's ok. But the majority of the people will be there by 12:30 or so.

lemme put it this way, goldilocks charges somewhere around almost $4 for the bbq, while at the same place I was talking about, they make it "meatier" and a lot better for $2.25 friggin goldilocks charges up the a** (fail)

@Batosai: do you have an address? i don't mind trying it? i've never tried filipino food before..i would say we either try this place since it seems like they're good and have fair prices..or we stick with applebee's..i would like to have a consensus by thursday so i can make reservations. do you know if the place you're talking about will hold about 20 people or so? and i think we might make it 1:30
