We have the ability to have the wheels custom drilled to fit the RL, with a HAAS machine. Guaranteed perfect fitment.

these rims are exclusive....im gonna price a set now

rdoming1 09-16-2009 12:15 AM

rims are sick.

rondog 09-23-2009 02:35 AM

these wheels are discontinued, and are 25% off while we still have them. I believe we only have the 19" size with the 40mm offset for the 3G TL and otyher cars that can work with the offset. no warranty or anything, but hey, 25% off ain't bad.

We have since replaced this wheel with a fully forged custom built to order version of the same design and spec. 19" and 20" as well as the new 22". all are $140 more per wheel and are FULLY FORGED centers and spun lips.

Paclark01 12-03-2009 10:46 AM

Ron,

Will the new Harrow wheel fit an 04-06 MDX?

I have to get these Boss wheels off my MDX, they suck since they aren't hubcentric and heavy as hell.

Yes, they will fit perfectly right out of the box, hubcentric and a 32mm offset. I'll be running those on my Honda Pilot as well.

Excellent... I am quite sure you will notify the forum when the wheels are available.

I am looking forward to purchasing these... 20" Harrow w/inserts... :pimp:

Great, I get like a kid on Christmas waiting for these wheels to arrive. 2 more weeks! They should be here right before Christmas too ironically. These wheels will end up looking like 22" or something the way the spokes travel so straight to the end of the rim.

jamjam69 12-10-2009 06:51 PM

How do you order these rims I'm dif interested

rondog 12-11-2009 10:19 PM

Call in. BTW, we just had an order for custom finished (front black face to Anthracite Machiend face) DT3's. As an added plus, we made the front wheels have the 3" lip and the rear wheels have a 4" lip. Both front and back have 8.5" width, so they look staggered, but maintain the same width front to rear.

Here's some preliminary shots before we shipped them out, they were for an 08 Accord coupe:

rondog 12-12-2009 07:43 PM

For sure, the guy who bought them already has alot into his car. We're gonna make the car a project vehicle on our site.

pinoyrnr 12-14-2009 04:25 PM

i love my DT3!!!! they fit my TSX really well. i know i wont see them on any car around here!!

princelybug 12-14-2009 04:32 PM

^

That's why these are my favorite RJ wheels.

rondog 04-06-2010 10:50 PM

I know the grille isn't the most appropriate mod, but damn, these wheels look insane on this car, look at that rear lip, it looks staggered, but the wheels are all 8.5" wide, and the tires are all 255/35/20, so it's not going to handle with all that understeer that a true staggered setup would bring on a FWD vehicle.
And the RJ Accord kit is going on next. His car is dropped with H&R springs as well.

THis customer would call me every other week to tell me he has a pro photographer set up to shoot the car and how miuchhe loves the wheels. I told him to send me an email of how he felt so if I ever make a testimonial's page, I could feature it there. Here's his email to us after all was said and done, I really was pleased to know that he genuinely loved his wheels and was happy with the effort I put forth to get him the desired look:

Rondy,

I just wanted to let people know how satisfied I am with my purchase of the Ron Jon Devotion Type 3 wheels. These wheels where built to fill the particular needs for my 08 Accord blue coupe. I got the staggered look(rear wheels look wider) and the finish that matched my billit grills.
I also was given advice by Rondy on proper offset and how much to drop my car. I followed his advice and have no rubbing or scrapping with my tires.I am given compliments on the looks on my Ron Jon wheels everyday.I have the satisfaction of knowing that no one else has a set of wheels exactly like mine.
The reason I chose Ron Jon wheels was that they are the undisputed leader in wheels for Honda's and Acura's. And if I ever have any problems with curbing my wheels, that I feel confident in there service department to expedite my needs.

rondog 12-28-2010 05:40 PM

The DT3 has been changed to the DT3-F, "F" standing for "Forged". We now make this wheel custom built to order, we stock all the part and cut them according to the vehicle and it's individual requirements. Here are some images of the forged wheels, barely indistinguishable from the original:

civicdrivr 01-03-2011 02:49 PM

Are there any visual clues as to what is forged and what isnt?

EDIT - Looking at them a bit more it looks like the RJ insignia is no longer between the lugs, its between the spokes. And the edge where the pad is looks to be less sharp leading into the spokes. It looks like the set I have are the forged wheels.

rondog 01-05-2011 09:36 PM

Yeah, we're going back to the original design and engineering. The engraving can be done, but normally we leave it out. Those wheels lasted long, they were built in 2004 and they still hold up well. The web page for this wheel has been updated:
