Zdx vs BMW X4
We had a female visitor and she came in and later said
“ I see your X4 out there “. I corrected her but just the thought of ZDX’s slightly resembling X6 (Mitchell Christensen design influence) or an X4 that’s a good thing since those are newer vehicle design and mines a older ZDX 2010. The mark of a great design by Acura still hanging with newer cars. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...cac425cd3f.png https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...3319e6b10a.png |
it's not a great design, tho.

Hehehehe 😂
well I love it but I understand because it didn’t sell well and some think it’s actually ugly but I think they are beautiful |
Styling is subjective, so you're going to get varying opinions. You can definitely say that it's not a very practical vehicle (re: space efficiency). Fortunately, there's the mechanical-twin MDX if you want more practicality. Also fortunately, the MDX's dependability is baked into the ZDX.
The BMW X4 and X6 both use turbocharging for motivation. Although turbos have become much more reliable over the years, they certainly don't hold the historic reliability of the naturally aspirated engine (especially those from Honda). Performance, yes :: relability, not so much. And that's the beauty of the ZDX: it's styling has held up well given the current SUV Coupe trend and because of its reliabilty, it's still a very relevant vehicle in the marketplace (and now kinda rare). |
AMEN! I agree !

Not impressed with the Beemer’s styling. I’ll take the ZDX anyday. Sure, there are better looking cars out there (Ferrari, Porsche, etc.), but nothing practical. If only Acura had offered the ZDX in 3/4 scale (al a Integra hatchback) with same motor, it would have sold better and attracted younger buyers.
